Our unit is located at the base of the Kimberley Alpine Resort making it convenient to access all the ski hill's amenities. The Buckhorn and Main Mountain Eatery and the Stemwinder Pub are just a short walk away.
This warm and cozy 2 bedroom condo has everything you'll need to enjoy that perfect mountain get-away. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything you'll need if you choose to prepare your own meals. There is also an eating area and a cozy living room with a beautiful stone fireplace so guests can warm up after a long day on the slopes. There are two bedrooms each containing a queen-size bed and also a queen-sized sofa bed in the living room. From the front of the unit, you are just a short two-minute walk to the Kimberley Alpine Resort. Out the back of the unit, there is a huge covered deck with a hot tub that overlooks a stunning forested area. This is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the BBQ and a few refreshments with family and friends.
Things to do:
Skiing - World-class ski runs; the high-speed quad chairlift, the T-Bar, and the kids' magic carpet are all just a 2 minute walk away or you can ski-in ski-out from the unit. It's only a 5-minute drive to the Nordic Centre where you'll find an amazing cross country ski track.
Golf - There are 4 courses in the immediate area; Trickle Creek, Bootleg Gap, Kimberley Golf and Country Club as well as the St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino. There are several more courses all within an hour's drive.
Fly Fishing - There are several world-class fly fishing lakes and rivers in the area. Come land a 20 lb Bull Trout out of the Bull River or try your luck on one of the many trophy lakes nearby. There are several guiding companies operating in the area.
Hiking - Kimberley Nature Park is the largest municipal park in BC. The 840-hectare nature park has over 50 kilometres of hiking trails lining forested hillsides, panoramic viewpoints, old-growth cedar, and numerous small ponds and streams.
Mountain Biking - Enjoy mountain biking on designated trails located in the Kimberley Nature Park or Louis Creek Trails. There is also a 25 kilometre paved path; Northstar Rails to Trails, that runs from Kimberley to Cranbrook. This is a great trail for families with beautiful scenery and gentle sloping grades.
Platzl - The Platzl is a street in the middle of town which is closed off to traffic. Here you can enjoy browsing through the shops, coffee houses, bistro's, pubs, and restaurants. The Platzl is a 15 - 20 minute walk from our unit along a well-maintained and mostly wooded pathway.

White water rafting, snowmobiling, quadding, hunting, cross country skiing, St. Eugene Casino, farmers market, Sullivan Mine Railway (great for the kids!), Marysville Falls and much more!
