"This is a beautiful very opulent home for anyone looking for a touch of luxury . The room was very spacious and my favourite thing about it was, not the comfortable bed or the large choice of tv channels but the comfy armchairs. I love a comfy armchair in the bedroom and you will not get this in most hotels. The en suite is enormous with fab power shower and a jacuzzi bath. We also had access to the library in the evening which was lovely. Our host Mary is very nice and cooked us beautiful...

"First of all, the lodge is exactly as portrayed in the pictures. We absolutely loved our 8 day stay in in this remote and quiet countryside. Lough Carra was beautiful, and we had sheep out front and dairy cows in the back. Beautifully landscaped as well. The caretakers, Jim and Mary were exceptional. We chose this place because we waned private and and countryside. We got it. It was the perfect base for our wanderings in Co. Mayo, Co. Galway and Connemara. My only sugesstion is for clearer...
