"My wife and I had a lovely time here. Samuel's Heritage guest house was very comfortable and quiet. Our room was very spacious and clean. The house sits on a hill on its own deadend road overlooking Waterford and the river, beautiful views. You don't hear a thing at night. It's about a 10 minute drive from the city centre. For breakfast there is everything you could want and plenty of it. Susan is a very welcoming and attentive host. "

"We had a very warm welcome. We stayed in a comfortable family room that worked well for our family trip as 3 adults. The stay was very good value and we enjoyed the breakfast. Also appreciated having a kettle in the room. The location was very convenient for visiting Waterford and Tramore. Would recommend!"

"Nice place but after 10 or 11 at night the owners really don't any noise what so ever..if you want to go for a night out and come back late or want to watch TV late or go out after 11 for cigarette.. you'll be approached by either Avery or Niamh and basically told keep it down so I felt uncomfortable during my stay and wouldn't return..stayed 4 days and the room wasn't serviced once..I had to go downstairs and ask for more toilet roll..towels which is unacceptable "

"Although I didn't ultimately stay at Hazelbrook, I would like to commend the manager, Graham, for his professionalism & resilience, in twice finding alternative accommodation when it proved not to be possible for me to stay there, then understanding when my own plans changed at the last moment. This was a most impressive example of excellent customer service in challenging circumstances."

Games room well stocked, plenty of room and space for everyone. Couldn’t have asked for anything better, the host, Helen, was very communicative and we have no complaints in any respect,. "It’s a wonderful place for a couple or a family with a kid. Comfortable, clean, well taken care of. A nice welcome package (wine, brown bread, breakfast supplies). The road to the driveway is quite narrow, but take it slow and no problem. The amenities are just as described. We would definitely stay again. "
