"Hotel has just been renovated. So it was really fresh and clean. Staff , especially, the overnight staff was so helpful. Our room had somehow been overlooked for housekeeping and overnight reception young lady helped w towels, coffee and everything else we needed. "I had stayed there 35 years ago. I was surprised the price was so low when I booked it when we arrived and saw that nothing had been maintained or updated since my last visit. It was so bad it was comical. I was chicken to go in the pool because it was so dark in that area at night & they had just had a two day event that resulted in obvious cleanliness issues. "The room walls and lighting were really cool. Alexia controls made for a nice addition. The shower was amazing with water coming from every direction pretty much. The hot tub took forever to fill but was a fun and relaxing experience. I was disappointed we couldn't get the tv attached to the hot tub to work or the massage chair. This took the rating down especially since paying more than double the normal price because it was NYE. Also there were a lot of parts in the room that cowarded the bed...
