The in-house dining experience was superb, especially the pre-dinner drinks around an open fire, and chats with other guests. Scrumptious breakfast the next morning was a highlight too. "Such a clean and lovely place to stay without a big price tag. Gardens were neat, area around was lovely and quiet - no road noise. The rooms were neat and clean - would definitely stay here again."

"First thing to keep in mind is that this is a historic hotel. That means shared bathroom and shower stalls. So long as you're OK with that, this is actually a nice spot. Included split system AirCon and TV, both hard to find at a historic location. Onsite food was good and reasonable. Well worth the price paid."
