"If you are looking for peace, quiet and the experience of remote living in Scotland the White House is just perfect. Car necessary as it’s a 25 min drive to nearest town with facilities. We had hired cars which was just as well as there was no way our own cars could have coped with the terrain and the snowy weather. "Lilyfield was amazing. Everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Views from the cottage are breath taking. Enjoyed sitting outside in the fresh air hearing the sheep in the fields. "Cozy cottage for our Xmas holiday’s. Beds were very comfortable, excellent quality bedding and towels. Sofas a bit on the small side for our group. Fantastic welcome basket much appreciated "

"Beechwood is a very well presented cottage with lovely gardens in the centre of Ballater. The cottage has been furnished to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect. We loved staying there and look forward to returning."

"4 spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms made it a perfect place to spread out. As a mom, i loved having a washer and dryer available. My girls loved having a small private yard to run around in. We sent one message about the TV/Netflix to the owner and never heard back, but other than that everything was wonderful."

"Accommodation was of a very high standard and would totally recommend anyone to stay here. Great location near ballater centre; you would definitely not be disappointed if you booked here "

"The property was one of the best we have stayed in. It was well equipped with good quality items. The situation was very private so no disturbance. It was very comfortable and we liked the supply of excellent quality bath robes. Our only negative was the garden which was not nice.The patio area was full of weeds and could have done with some maintenance and perhaps some pots with shrubs or flowers to brighten up the place"
