"The house has plenty of room with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which makes for quick showers for everyone in the morning. The kitchen is nicely equipped and everything including the wash machine worked well. The town has a nice market just three doors down and is minutes from Donegal and other sites like Sliebh League cliffs. The rooms were comfy and quiet and our hosts were attentive and gracious. Thanks!"

"Bill and I spent another incredible two weeks at Hilltown. The family connection is so important to us! We enjoyed walking the strands with old and new friends, meeting up for lunch dates with Bill’s cousin, visiting other cousins and friends! Our friends, who traveled with us,thouroghly enjoyed the comforts afforded at Hilltown, the beauty of the country-side and exploring what Donegal has to offer. We are already looking forward to planning another visit back to Ireland!"

"Ballydevitt Retreat is a comfortable home away from home in a great location. It is removed from the business of the town but an easy walk to the town Diamond. The home is spacious and comfortable. Paula, the host, communicates very quickly and is excellent at making sure guests have all their questions answered. I highly recommend this as a place to stay while exploring County Donegal."

"Perfect and quiet location. The house is pretty new, beatiful view. We just had some problems with the wifi connection but nothing else was wrong. Very useful the two bathrooms. Large tv. We'd like to be back again."

"We had a lovely week away at this property. The property is situated close to town and the beach, with a restaurant and off licence a few mins drive. The house was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Furnished and decorated to a high standard. Very well equipped with everything we could have needed. Thw treats that welcomed us were a delicious surprise and greatly appreciated. Lots of little touches made the stay feel special. Thank you ."

"Treat yourself to this amazing, cozy and friendly little property. The owners are very kind and helpful and happy to share information about their farm. The animals are so well cared for and you can interact with them if you choose. We got up close tor the cows, lambs, horse and llamas— along with a few friendly barn cats. "Great size property. Just a couple of small things could be addressed. Wi-Fi didn’t work, handle on the toilet needs fixing. Would have been nice to have seating in back garden. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels available and nice clean bed linen."

"Stayed here over the Easter long weekend, at very late notice (booked on Friday night for Saturday arrival). The owner had left easter eggs for my three sons which was a lovely touch. The house itself is beautiful; it looks to be only recently built so I would say we were one of the first groups to rent it. It had everything we needed and was only a couple of minutes walk from the beach. I would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back here again in the future."

"There was a hidden utility fee of 10 Euros per day. Other than that, the house was large with four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Dishwasher was missing wheels and racks were bent. Supplies were minimal in kitchen."

"Property is beautiful and positioned well for visits along the Wild Atlantic Way. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Note - if you are from the US some of the heating and water terminology will confound you so ask questions of the host. There are instructions but are tricky if you are new to these systems.
