Attention: Beach Lovers! Our condo is in the best location in the sunny beach town of South Kihei, bordering Wailea and across the street from the most beautiful sandy beach on Maui...Keawakapu Beach. This unpretentious Maui complex has a wonderful Hawaiian feel with lush landscaping, partial ocean views and gorgeous sunsets. You will feel right at home with our comfortable, casual furnishings which include everything you need for an enjoyable, relaxing vacation. The kitchen has granite countertops with stone flooring and all the cooking utensils you could ask for! There is an extra-large tile and stone shower in the main bathroom. We also have an extra one-half bath off the primary bedroom. This condo is a perfect place for families...and yet it also offers a romantic setting for couples wishing to escape the hustle & bustle of major tourist attractions, traffic and hotels, etc.

Beach you can walk to close by is wonderful and others a very short drive. Quieter part of Kihei. Property very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Can pay for washer and dryer with Apple Pay which was super convenient. Beach chairs and other beach stuff provided. Fridge also has filtered water so didn’t have to buy bottled water.

Great location, plenty of parking, effortless check-in. Issues were no hot shower water for 5 of our 7 days (had to prove it to the owner and advise how to fix it, apparently 80 degrees was ok LOL), couch is very broke down (there’s a board that was added to give stability), porch was dirty, no AC in second bedroom, good luck if the apartment above is occupied as you will hear every chair scrape and loud laugh, had to run the dishwasher after every meal due to not enough dishes, auto garbage can didn’t work so I had to touch it all the time. I can see why it’s a successful unit, but was not for us.

Tropical Garden End Unit
This condo was just what we needed - right across from the beach, close to town but still quiet. It was clean, spacious, and well equipped. Communication with the owners was speedy and helpful. I hope to spend another vacation here in the future!

Best location and all you need condo!
We truly enjoyed our stay in this condo! It is situated in 5 minutes walk to the local beach and park, close to restaurants, shopping and larger beaches. There are beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling gear and small serfing boards provided for the guests. The condo has convenient floor plan and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great views from the patio too!

A great place
Clean and peaceful space, it was very pleasant to stay here! Decorations suit the feeling of a tropical getaway, we were comfortable and would stay here again. We made good use of the kitchen and enjoyed watching birds outside the window. Recommended!

Magnificent Maui

Lovely home, perfect location!
Located just a stone's throw from Wailea and Keawakapu Beach, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind! Watching breath-taking sunsets from the lanai after snorkeling with turtles - what could be better? The house is well stocked with amenities and Cheryl is a wonderful and responsive host! The beds are comfy and the couch is very sprawlable. The whole place felt very homey. Those with accessibility concerns - there is a short flight of stairs from the parking lot directly to the unit. 10/10 would come back!

Cheryl's place looks better than the photos. We had a great stay at her place. Plenty of beach stuff and such a short convenient walk to the beach. Cheryl was very responsive and kind. The coffee pot was broken and she got us a new one within hours! She also let us check-in early. Thank you Cheryl! The only negative was that there was no coffee, bath soap, shampoo, or conditioner. Not a big deal but be aware you'll need to make a run to the store.

'home away from home'
comfortable and convenient 'home away from home' with parking. refrigerator beverage center dispensed ice intermittently, but no water. Fan(round) in queenbed room would not work. Corner of mirror cover on medicine cabinet in full bath got bandaided to prevent further injuries. Aside from normal mishaps, we were very pleased with the accommodations and excellent hostess.

Nice condo
Communicating with the host was very easy. The condo was clean. We just felt that the description was a bit misleading. You're not right across the street from the beach although it's still quite walkable. You can't really see the ocean from the condo without climbing the hill out the back. We still had an amazing time in Maui, the condo just didn't live up to the description.

Great little place
Just as other reviews have said, this is a smaller complex tucked in a quiet spot at the south end of Kihei. We were very happy with the condo. It was well supplied with beach gear, towels and kitchen implements. Everything was clean and in working order. Our lanai was very private with a nice view of the sunset. We made friends with the local gecko and lizard. Lots of birds and flowers on the property. Parking was great. Laundry was located in the complex and easy to access (bring quarters). One minor thing, the BBQ area was quite small with only one charcoal BBQ and occupied by others every night so we were unable to use it. Overall we were very happy with this condo and would definitely stay here again.

Great Location with well-appointed kitchen!
Really enjoyed our stay at this unit. Check in process was seamless and the host, Cheryl was very responsive when we had concerns or questions. The BEST things about this condo are: 1. LOCATION!! Literally across the street from Keawakapu Beach. We went for snorkeling with the kids, a picnic lunch, a walk down towards Ulua Beach while house gawking, sunsets and swimming. We even spotted turtles! The condo is a 12-minute drive from Foodland, a 15-minute drive to Wailea and a 15-minute stroll to coffee and restaurants! 2. The kitchen. We stay in a lot of VRBO’s and not all have sharp knives and equipment for cooking. The knives are sharp sharp and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook in (eating out is pricey in Maui). Stay here. You won’t regret it.

Kihei condo
What lovely, private, secluded retreat! This condo is on the south end of Kihei, so you are not in the hustle and bustle at all. It was quiet and peaceful. The backyard is lovely and has a distant view of the ocean. The rooms were well decorated and clean. Beds are super comfy, including the sofa bed. Kitchen had all we needed! We cooked breakfast and dinner at "home" and packed a picnic to the beach each day. Saved a ton of money and ate very healthy! Made our own Mahi Mahi tacos! Condo comes with sand toys, beach chairs and umbrellas, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and a small cooler. You will need a larger cooler for taking food to the beach, as we did. The walk to the beach was too much for our small kiddos and all of our "gear", so driving was easier. But it is certainly walkable. FAB condo and location. You will love this place too! Owners were wonderful to work with also.

It’s true, the ocean view has been compromised by tall trees but the convenient location allows for you to walk across the street in mere minutes to see the sunset. We spend lots of time in Wailea and this condo is in a great location bordering Wailea/South Kihei. I walked to the shops at Wailea many times - it’s much shorter than what google maps says, especially if you are in good walking shape FYI. We also found an 808 general market right across the street (ground floor of Māui Kai condos I think?). You have your own parking spot assigned so you never need to worry about unavailable or far parking. The condo is equipped with everything you need for the beach and then some. I didn’t realize when I booked that the unit didn’t have a washer/dryer inside - make sure you pack your quarters! A bit disappointing at first as I was not prepared for that - but really my own fault for not reading the description thoroughly. It also wouldn’t change my decision to book. This was a great place to rest our head between adventures.

Lovely condo near a great beach!
Enjoyed our 10 day stay!! The condo was very clean and well stocked. There are now 4 chairs and a table on the patio which we used every meal and could seat 5 around. Cheryl was quick to respond to any inquiries or messages. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes and it is a great beach for swimming and in the afternoon boogie boarding. It has a gentle slope so good for kids. The shared laundry has two washers and dryers and we rarely had to wait long to be able to use them. Beds were comfortable. To sofa bed was fine for my teenage son. Appreciated that there were 4 beach chairs and two umbrellas and two boards. Tons of snorkel gear. Air conditioners worked well though the smaller bedroom doesn’t have a unit so needed a few fans. Great location - 10 minute drive from pharmacy, groceries, or shave ice or ABC store or wailea shops. Or several other beaches. It does require climbing the stairs to the second floor (unit is on a hill) to access the condo. We found it quiet and the neighbors were friendly. Pots and pans were in good shape, knives could be sharper but lots of dishes. Appliances all in good shape and worked. Unfortunately no recycling available but the local recycling centre is only a short drive away. We would definitely stay again. Did I mention how great the beach in that area is! Thanks Cheryl and John!!

Overall a great stay. Nice close beach we can walk to watch the sunset. Had beach toys and chairs to use which was nice since you would have to rent otherwise.

Great Location
This property is very well equipped with almost everything you need for a beach vacation. It was very clean and worked quite nicely for the two of us. The owner was very quick to respond to messages and very helpful. There are several excellent snorkeling beaches nearby. The only downside (for us) was that the lanai was noisy - both from the road close by and the AC unit. It took away from the serenity and beauty of the magnificent sunsets! Otherwise it was a great place to stay.
