Sugar Beach Oceanfront Condo with Spectacular Views and Steps to the Beach

Our one bedroom, one bath, non-smoking beachfront condo has amazing oceanfront views, and breathtaking sunsets from a private lanai. As you relax on the lanai, watch the Kihei Canoe Club glide by, as well as the waves breaking along the five miles of white sand beach!

Our condo is comfortably furnished and includes central air conditioning, wood floors throughout, a 55" flat-screen smart TV, and free Wi-Fi.

The complex consists of two six-story buildings, each with two elevators, covered free parking, an activity center, sandwich shop and bar. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a large pool, Jacuzzi, putting green, gas barbeque grills, without a resort fee!

Sugar Beach Resort is centrally located, just minutes away from many of Maui's world-famous beaches, renowned golf courses, Maalaea Harbor, and Maui Ocean Aquarium.

Great location. We explored practically the entire island. Can walk out to ocean or enjoy the pool. Can even grab a drink and a bite without leaving the premises at Dina’s.

Excellent place to stay. Fantastic view. Owners are very responsive if you need anything. The view, beach out front, pool, what else do you need. Also great location to get to all the different locations around the island.

We loved our stay, the view from our balcony was perfection! Early morning sunrises, hearing the waves, and ending the night watching the sunset. Although you have to drive most places, you could walk on the beach to the local stores if needed. It was centrally located to everything in Kihei though. SO glad we stayed here!

The space was efficient and neat. Well appointed kitchen and living room. Comfortable bed and sturdy, usable furniture. Beach accessories included chairs, boogie boards, cooler and beach bags. Grounds, pool and grill areas are clean and well manicured. The highlight is the view. We enjoyed sunsets, starry nights, ocean breezes and the surf. A great stay!

Great Condo
The photo from the Lanai sums it up. Walk to the beach, ocean views, nice resort, great pool area, beach is not busy. The condo has just been renovated so everything is bright and shiny, modern bathroom, stainless appliances, etc. If you want to cook the kitchen has everything you'll need. I enjoyed my stay.

Open views and long sandy beach for walks are awesome and my number one priority. Kitchen is stocked with quality utensils and had everything we needed. We covered the sofa with the extra blanket because it didn’t feel or smell clean. Other than that it was perfect

Space was great for two adults. Nicely appointed kitchen. The lanai was fabulous, we had many meals and cocktails on it, the view is hard to beat. Partial sunsets from the lanai when we visited because of the time of year & position of the sun (mid May) but you definitely see all the colours. Easy enough to just travel down to Kam beach 2 or 3 (during sunset rush hour which really isn’t that bad at all) and you’ll see the full sunset. Bed is a comfy king, good pillows, couch is comfy as well. TVs in the bedroom and main room. Location is great, we would recommend.

Fantastic location! We were within a 10-20 minute drive to delicious food options. Kihei is centrally located making it ideal to explore elsewhere on the island. The owner and management responded quickly to our requests. The area is well kept and quite. The condo is clean, well furnished. The bathroom and kitchen are well stocked with towels, kitchen appliances, etc. The views from the condo are amazing. You can lounge on the couch and still enjoy a great view. We would love to stay here again.

Very nice but definitely an older property..
The condo we were in 433 is very nice. We had a lovely ocean front view. All furniture is comfortable and in good condition. My only suggestion is the outside of the building needs a fresh coat of paint. Going into condo is very dark this is where the property really shows its age. If I were the property owner I would invest in nicer beach towels better toilet paper and a shower enclosure, no matter how we moved the shower heads the floor got wet.. these are just a couple of suggestions for perfection!

The condo has great utilization of space. It is as nice as the pictures! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pans, toaster, blender, etc. We found the full-size washer and dryer to be a great bonus. Undercover parking was nice as it was a bit warm when we were there; central air-conditioning kept to condo at a perfect temperature. It is a nice, safe, and friendly community. We spent a lot of time in the mornings and evenings enjoying the view. The owners are very responsive to any questions you might have.

Dated building but maintained well, mostly. BUT beautiful condo!! Spacious, very clean. Well appointed full kitchen. Beach gear available. Quick grab food in complex. We did lose electricity for a few hours, almost got caught in elevator. Had to walk our luggage up 4 flights upon check in. Cell coverage is spotty, especially at night. Very convenient central location. Overall would stay there again if not overpriced.

Relaxing!
Nothing beats waking up to the sound of waves. Whether from a short nap on the lanai or early in the morning. Walking out to the beach every morning as the sun rises. Did I mention the beach? A nice sandy beach that you can walk down or just jump right into the ocean. I saw several small sea turtles out front and the binoculars came in clutch! If that’s not your vibe you are pretty close to anything. 15 minutes any direction bring you too different types of fun. It was easy to find fine dining or a food truck if that’s your thing. Afternoon sun comes down straight on the lanai to enjoy right out of the living room. Also on the property is plenty of lawn chairs to sit outside or on the grass as well as a pool and hot tub. I really enjoyed my experience through and through!

Nice Condo, but a little buggy
This condo is pretty nice. Not the newest or best I have seen, but obviously has been updated and taken care of. The only issue we had was the fact that in the months of January, February and March, there are these tiny bugs (midges or gnats) that come out from the kaelia ponds behind the resort in hoards at dawn and dusk. Apparently they can fit through the screen door. We had a bunch in the condo assuming that we could leave the slider open, but shut the screen door. They are very small, don't bother you and are all dead by the next day. Just learned our lesson to not leave the door open with or without the screen door closed at this time of year. After figuring this out, we were fine, except not being able to spend much time on the lanai.
