Enjoy the ocean breezes and panoramic unobstructed ocean views from this second floor unit. This condo and location will be more than you could ever expect. It sure did surprise us. Great sunrise and moonrises over Haleakala, from the bedroom, and the most amazing Maui sunsets from the privacy of your own lanai. Location is everything.

THIS CONDO CAN ACCOMMODATE UP TO 3 PEOPLE. However groups of more than 3 there is an extra charge of $20 per night. Unfortunately the condo is not child safe due to the stainless steel wire ropes design.

You can enjoy the lanai and watch the whales (in season) or surfers directly across from the tennis court, after a busy day at the beach or site seeing. Just minutes to the beach, Kihei marketplace, grocery store, and many fine restaurants.


Terms and Conditions

Deposits and Cancellation Policy:

For a deposit refund, less a $100 fee, cancellation is required 40 days or more prior to arrival date. For cancellations received within 40 days of arrival or after arrival date, payments will be retained. If the space can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued.

A 1/2 day charge is required to guarantee a late check-out.

All rates subject to 17.416% Hawaii State Tax. A $200 deposit is due within 10 days of confirmation to secure reservation. Full prepayment is due 40 days prior to arrival and 60 days prior to arrival for Christmas reservations.

Minimum 3 night stay or service fee will be added.

There is a $175 cleaning fee for all stays. Maid service is available upon request at an additional charge.

Special rates available for 28 day stay or longer. All rates and taxes are subject to change without notice.

The condo was beyond our expectations! It had everything we needed including beach equipment and beach-specific toiletries. The view was incredible, and it was so fun to see the morning surfers and the sunsets. The location was walkable to some incredible dining options and Kalama Park beach, and drivable to many Maui destination spots.

Lovely home in quaint neighborhood
The home is conveniently located near beaches, restaurants, and stores. The home is well kept and spacious. I’d recommend the home for a couple or small family looking to enjoy everything Kihei has to offer!

The steep staircase was difficult for my husband & I as he is 82 & I recently had a hip replacement- so getting suitcases & groceries up will prevent us from staying again - the view was great & enjoyed watching the surfers. The air conditioning blowing on the lanai made it not possible too spend as much time out there as would have liked

THe best place I have stayed.
This is the best place I have stayed in the Kihei area ever...and I have stayed any many of them. Beautiful wood work, remodeled, and very nice. Great AC.

Fabulous stay
We love this spot particularly sitting on the porch watching the surfers and being able to just walk across the street for a nice long board surf break. The food truck area through south Maui Gardens was a favorite eating locale for us. All in all very relaxing.

Quick weekend in paradise
This condo was perfectly place and close to everything you’ll want or need. We both enjoyed our stay. King mattress was really comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked including spices. Drip coffee maker Beach chairs Beach towels You won’t regret.

Love this location
If you’re wanting a beautiful ocean view, walking distance to anything you need and the bonus of a pool, you need to stay here. This condo is exactly as described. Being on the second floor gives you a perfect spot to watch Mauis amazing sunsets as well as enjoying the surfers all day. You can easily walk to restaurants, groceries, cocktails and shopping. We will definitely be back.

Ocean Views
This condo was so homey and comfortable. We had wondered if there would be street noise, but we seldom noticed traffic noise at all. We were able to walk to so many things - food, restaurants, shopping, activity rentals, and Kraken Coffee! We had absolutely everything we needed and more. The view from the lanai was just gorgeous - watching surf lessons in the morning and beautiful sunsets in the evening. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great Stay
Our stay was short and sweet. The accommodations were as advertised. Probably could not find a better spot to view the awesome sunsets. There were an abundance of amenities, however could not find any shampoo, no biggie. Final issue, my wife removed her shoes as requested at the door and found quickly that the floors, although nothing noticeable on the floor were quite dirty. Overall, very nice stay and would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful location and sunset on Maui.

Hard to leave this peaceful condo! The Lanai is the best, with beautiful views of surfers and sunsets. Bring binoculars and look for whale spouts. Refreshing, stimulating venue for all our meals that were accompanied by the sound of crashing waves. (Collection of food trucks just a short walk away.)

Unit 216 was perfect, so much so we added on 3 more days!!! The condo has a fantastic view, loved waking up and watching the surfers. The unit had everything, very clean with all the updates. Beautiful place and wonderful location
I stayed here as part of a quiet celebration of my birthday. For me, it was a staycation with a friend coming from out of town. The location was fabulous and the place was beautiful. Close to beaches, a wonderful pool, and near South Maui Gardens (a great food truck area) and a gorgeous view. So many places were walkable - 3 minutes to go get coffee in the mornings, plus a coffee maker in the apartment. The wood carvings and details are exquisite and the place had everything we needed - I would happily stay here again in the future and I hope for the opportunity.

Wonderful stay on Maui
We've stayed at the Shores of Maui many times and this year, Leif's apartment was wonderful (our favorite we've stayed in). It was clean, well equipped, and gorgeous sunsets. We stayed for nearly 2 weeks and do a lot of cooking and the kitchen had everything we could need. Leif was very communicative and welcoming for us to stay in his home (thank you, Leif). We've been going to Maui for 11 years for the holidays and Shores fo Maui is a great location for sunset, to walk to all the Kihei shops and easy walks or drives to the beach. Thanks for opening your home and what a wonderful stay!

Perfect location in paradise!
Everything was absolutely phenomenal! The host was super responsive and helpful! The place itself is perfect with a beautiful view of the ocean and has everything needed to cook meals and enjoy a day at the beach. We loved taking the beach chairs and umbrella over on a short walk across the street to the beach! Bed is super comfy and we loved all the island and beach decor. Only small issue was the wifi was occasionally going down when we tried to watch Netflix/map out and research restaurants near by and we had to restart the router several times. Location is perfect, able to walk to beaches, shops, restaurants, and bars! We will definitely plan on returning to this location! Thank you so much Lief!

If you like to surf or want to learn how, this is the place to stay.
The apartment is clean, tidy, small. Everything you need and more is provided. Right across the street from a fantastic beginner surf spot. Lessons and board rentals just down the street. Bed is comfortable but couch is not. It’s good for two people. Has A/C and fans. Small porch overlooking a beautiful view. I went upstairs once and it’s pretty warm up there. No fan for the stove top so cooking things that may be odiferous isn’t advised. They have outdoor grills by the pool and tons of places to eat just down the street. TV and cable but takes a while to figure out. Great spot.

Great location in Kihei
Location, location, location! We picked this place because of the picture from the balcony and it did not disappoint. Amazing sunset views from the balcony. 4 stars because the building and condo are pretty dated. Nice updated kitchen but the rest of the place could use a pick me up. Pretty clean but probably needs a deep clean (dust on the plants, in corners, etc.). Host was very responsive and accommodating. The condo was very well equipped with everything we need. Didn't really understand the upstairs but we didn't need it as there were only two of us. All in all, a great spot in Kihei across the street from the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend it to friends and would stay again if it was available!

Comfortable condo in a great location!
Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at this condo in Kihei. The view from the lanai is amazing. My wife and I never tired of sitting outside and watching surfers and paddleboarders zip through the waves right across the street. I surfed quite a few times myself because the condo was so handy to the beach. The condo was a great base of operations. There are several excellent drinking and dining options within walking distance and even more if you are willing to take a 5 minute drive. The kitchen is well equipped. We did quite a bit of cooking there. You also have the barbecues down by the pool which are nice way to spend an evening or two. The bed in the condo was very comfortable, and our kids slept on one of the many futons available. The air-conditioning cools down the whole place within minutes, although we didn't use it very often. The breeze blowing in was quite enough for us to keep the temperature comfortable. Plus, you can hear the ocean that way as well. The condo comes equipped with snorkel gear, boogie boards, tennis racquets, and other things you can use to enjoy the outdoor playground that is Maui. The owner contacted us a couple of times to make sure everything was in working order. The pool/ jacuzzi/ barbecue area is a great way to unwind after being at the beach all day. The pool is the perfect temperature. The beaches within walking distance have nice, sandy bottoms and the snorkeling is decent as well. In short, you really can't go wrong with this place.
