Our home could be your home away from home. The condo features 1,022 square feet of living space and has recently undergone a remodel, including granite and tumbled travertine-style flooring throughout the entryway, kitchen, living/dining room, and bathrooms.
The kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare a yummy breakfast, pupu for sharing, or a romantic dinner. The bedroom features a king-size bed, and the living room has a new queen-size convertible sofa to accommodate two additional guests.
Spend your mornings sipping coffee on the lanai and watching the sky light up at sunrise. In the evening, raise your glass as you hear the neighborhood conch blowers pay homage to the perfect sunset. From December through April, the state boasts some of the most amazing whale-watching, all viewable from your private lanai.
Imagine yourself strolling along the beach at sunrise or sunset, hand in hand, along the Wailea Beach Walk – a 2-mile stretch of beachfront promenade that passes the Wailea Marriott, the Grand Wailea, the Four Seasons, and Fairmont Kea Lani Hotels. Or maybe you'd prefer to relax on the beach, build sand castles, or snorkel along the waters of the famed Ulua Beach. All are within walking distance from your condo.
If you'd prefer to stay inside, you'll be amazed by the 60" HD OLED TV with a Sound Bar with Bluetooth for Music streaming. There is free high-speed internet access to stay connected with the outside world.
A hair dryer, iron, ironing board, and washer/dryer are conveniently available. You'll also find boogie boards, beach towels, a sun umbrella, and coolers for your days at the beach. Guest can use our home like it was their own.
We live off the island and have a local property manager in case of any issues.
Wailea Ekolu Village is the third of the four Wailea Villas condo groups to be built (in 1979). "Ekolu" means "three," referring to it as the third in that group. It's at 10 Wailea Ekolu Place.
Wailea Ekolu condos are on a hill near the Wailea Tennis Club and the Wailea Blue golf course (now called the Old Blue Course). It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to walk downhill to Ulua Beach and longer to walk back uphill, but the drive is only 2 or 3 minutes. It is less expensive to stay here uphill than at similar Wailea condos on the beach.
Location, Location, Location—need I say more? We have the most spectacular view of the ocean. During the whale-watching season, you can see whales breaching and playing in the channel. With our daily morning walks along the 2-mile path and the proximity to some of Maui's finest restaurants, who would want to be anywhere else?
You can walk to many restaurants or activities, but a car would be more practical.
You can stroll or jog on the paved 2-mile Wailea Beach Walk, which winds along the spectacular beach and past premium hotels and award-winning restaurants. Ekolu Village is located near the Shops at Wailea, featuring an array of exquisite stores and restaurants, including Tommy Bahama's, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Lineage, and Waikiki Brewing Company.
The village is also conveniently close to most of Maui's scenic attractions. The Wailea Blue, Gold, and Emerald championship golf courses and tennis courts are just minutes away, and you can receive a special Ekolu Village resort price.
