The Space:
The Aloha Mai Suite is a proud member of the Aloha Aku rental family. Located at the fabulous Maui Sunset Resort Condo complex it offers the traveler looking for the resort condo experience a generous balance of reasonable cost and access to large resort amenities.


Family friendly, this Oceanfront resort condo has been totally remodeled in 2020. It features 1 bedroom with a comfortable California King bed, 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers, a spacious living room with a queen pull-out sleeper sofa, as well as a comfortable queen murphy bed for even more sleeping space. It also sports a fully equipped remodeled kitchen and private covered lanai with partial ocean view.


There is a large pool and activities reservation center onsite with an array of lawn games and equipment available for check-out as well as stand-up paddle board rentals. Security is maintained 24 hours and with easy self-check in you can access your suite any time of day or night. There is a courteous and helpful registration office with staff available and convenient free parking is right outside your door. There is a small workout room, shuffleboards, putting greens on property, and adjacent public tennis courts.


The Maui Sunset is on Waiohuli Beach, an unspoiled, uncrowded area, and one of Maui's best kept secrets! World class golf courses and other great swimming and snorkeling beaches are nearby. Centrally located in mid-Kihei, lots of restaurants, shopping and groceries are within easy walking & biking distance.


The Aloha Mai Suite is a beautifully renovated and comfortable one bedroom condo on the ground-floor of one of the best maintained resort/condominium complexes on Maui. Aloha Mai means "to receive love". We would love to host you and make your stay the most memorable and enjoyable as possible!

In 40+ years of visiting Maui, I’ve never stayed on south side, but this was a pretty cool spot! Room is nicely decorated, plenty of beach accessories in the closet for you to use, two bathrooms so it would be perfect for a family. I’d stay there again!

Clean, modern condo on a great location. Beautifully kept grounds. There’s a putting green right outside the back door and it’s only a few more steps to the pool and beach. Easy and open parking. Air conditioners worked great and we were never hot. Everyone we met at the resort was very friendly. Looking forward to returning soon. Highly recommend.

Loved being right on the lanai
We had a great stay at the condo with our three month old baby. It was really convenient being on the ground level with access right out the back door to the lanai and the coast. The condo was clean and comfortable, and the amenities within the condo complex were great for our family. Lots of good spots to eat within easy walking distance. We’d definitely return!

Great for Family!
We enjoyed our stay at the Maui Sunset rental. It was a great central location, close to beaches, snorkeling. Condo is stocked with beach amenities, laundry, and comfortably sleeps 6. The grounds are fabulous, meticulously groomed, with well taken care of BBQ's/pool/spa etc. Paddleboard, camera rental available here too.

We loved this property it was perfect for our family. It was exactly as advertised we loved being on the ground floor so our kids could play in the grass and run to the pool we had everything we needed. There were lots of extra things for the beach like chairs and snorkel gear we didn’t have to rent a thing it was a really nice plus.

Amazing Kihei Getaway
Clean, open condo with everything you need to make your trip special. Literally steps from the beach and a great place to catch a beautiful sunrise/sunset. We loved our stay here, great location in the back of the property for our kids to run around while we ate breakfast each morning. Well stocked kitchen and beach amenities. Kids absolutely loved running around the lawn and the putting green. Quick little walk to a beach filled with pretty coral, my 5YO loved that. If you wake up early enough, you can see several sea turtles on the same beach, just a little walk to the left! Close driving distance to shops and farmers markets. Great central location on the island.

We loved this location, the condo, the view, and especially the convenience and amenities. Having a kitchen is important to us and they provided everything we needed to cook meals! We enjoyed the grassy area outside the patio door and loved walking the property and swimming in the pool. Very nicely kept property, clean and welcoming!!
