The property location was exactly what we wanted, easy access to the Wailea beachfront walking path and directly on the beach. We had a great time but if you are considering this place you need to go in with your eyes wide open. It was very pricey for how tired this unit is. It badly needs a full renovation. The tile is from the 1980's, the carpet is gross and crunchy. When we arrived late, it appeared someone had tried to break in the sliding doors and that set off numerous R&M emails regarding the filter in the fridge needing replacement, leaking ensuite facet, patio furniture delivery. The property manager was very quick to respond but still a lot of issues during our 10 day stay. The second bedroom is very bright at night due to ineffective blinds and exterior floodlights. And the tub in the master was too high to climb over unless you are 6ft tall. So you really only have one workable shower. Parking was a problem as trades took spots during the day- hopefully that should be remedied when the security gate is installed. You can only eat outside at a table as "kitchen table" only had 2 chairs. Good things included the beds were comfy, not too soft. There was plenty of space for a family with young adults. Kitchen was reasonably stocked. And the AC worked well as well as ceiling fans. All in all we had a great time in Maui but could look past the shortcomings of this unit.
