Beachfront Family Estate. Great for multiple families.

Located in central Kihei, nestled on the northern end of beautiful Halama Street. Family-owned and operated legal short-term rental. There are two dwellings on this beach front property - an apartment building with four units and a detached 2 BR/1BA cottage. The apartment building (ocean front) and the cottage (mountain view) are rented our separately. This listing, #775190, is for the apartment building only. Outside gas grills, tables, and lounge chairs are available for all guests to enjoy on the grassy lawn area fronting the ocean. Less than a one-minute walk will take you to a large spacious green lawn with swaying coconut palm trees and to a seemingly private sandy beach. Swim with the turtles or choose from the many types of possible ocean activities. Ocean equipment is available at the numerous rental shops in town. Enjoy nearby parks, tennis, gymnasium, public pool, surfing lessons and much more. In the heart of Kihei near banks, shopping, dining and many activities, but still very private! Once you are here, you will see why it’s called Al’s Paradise. Stairs are necessary to access the apartment building, cottage, backyard and beach area. The two-story apartment building consists of Unit #1-4 as follows:

Unit #2: First Floor, 1 BR 1 BA
Unit #3: Second Floor, 2 BR 1 BA
Unit #4: Second Floor, 1 BR 1BA
* We only rent out Unit #1-#4 as a whole, and not separately. Units 3 & 4 units are connected by a locked door that guests can open during their stay (great if you want to watch over your kids or teenagers) or it can be locked completely to allow no access. Each unit has its own entrance door from the outside. All units in the apartment are beach front. Got more guests?? Or you just want more privacy? Fantastic multi- generational family location!
Each family had their own unit with kitchen and bathroom. Beautiful beach location with plenty of on-site activities. Easy walk to dining and shopping. The host Michael was fabulous, very responsive and friendly. We couldn’t have found a more perfect location for our family vacation!

Awesome place to stay. Perfect location and space for multi family with different ages and friends. The view in the back yard is magnificence. Michael is a great host. He provides so much helpful information about where to visit while in Maui! It really makes it hard to come back to reality after a stay as nice as this.

The property is very comfortable, clean and in a prime location right on the beach (including turtles). Mike is a phenomenal host: very accommodating, gracious and generous (surprised us with two pies from a local spot and wine and sparkling wine to help us celebrate our wedding). I would definitely recommend this property to any larger group.

Two Families and One Memorial
Michael's place was perfect for our 3 families to meet/visit. Lots of sleeping space and the ability to share living spaces was perfect. One family of father, two children, spouses and their children fulfilled their mother's wish by bringing their memories and holding a beachside memorial ceremony so their Mom could visit her 50th state in spirit!

Awesome Family Vacation!

Property is laid out great for multiple families. Able to separate when kids need downtime or sit together to eat dinner and watch the sunset. Large lawn with wonderful view was our favorite part. Family Vacation
This place is great for a family vacation. Beautiful sunset every evening. Huge backyard for the family to run around and burn energy or just relax by the beach. When Michael says that the sea turtles come up every night to the beach, he's telling the truth! Michael makes himself available if you need something or just a guide for local favorites. Beautiful lawn, beach and sunsets
Property is well kept and maintained. We especially enjoyed lounging in front of the units while watching the waves and enjoying the ambience of the surroundings. We had three families for a total of 11 and all thoroughly enjoyed the facilities, especially playing on the beach and walking the beach at sunset. The time went too quickly! Incredible house, location, and host!
We had an incredible time staying here! Michael was such a great host and very kind and helpful. We were 5 families with many kids and the house was perfect. It was clean, in a great location, and had tons of beach chairs and snorkels and other things we could use. We were able to hang out and grill burgers as a family on the grass area. Then walk on the beach in the evening to see the turtles coming on shore! It was a magical week and I want to thank Michael for making this a special memory for my family.

Family Reunion In Paradise
I treated my family to a vacation in Kihei, Maui. There were multiple families, so the individual units were perfect. Everyone was so happy with our stay and already talking about coming back. Michael was an amazing host and made us feel like family. We saw turtles and a monk seal on the beach it was awesome. Kids learned to surf. Many wonderful memories were made.

Another great stay!
This is our second time to stay here, and it was just as enjoyable as the first! We are a family of 15, eight adults and seven children. There was plenty of room for all of us. The building was 2-one bedroom condos, and 2- two bedroom condos that have been interconnected so it’s perfect for our four families. The great yard that goes all the way to the beach was perfect for the kids and adults alike. Michael is a great host and is easy to reach anytime. We’re definitely coming back!

Nice place on the beach
We really enjoyed our stay in Kihei. We thought we were seeing Sea Otters right off the beach but I think they were Monk Seals. There were also sea turtles right off our beach too. Michael was very helpful and brought what ever we thought about. The place is a little dated but the kitchens have all been remodeled. Beds were comfortable. Check in and check out painless. Just a code for the doors and take out trash.

Fabulous!!!
Our extended family of grandchildren, adults and grandparents enjoyed this fabulous property close to the ocean. All the families had a place of their own, the large grass lawn was the center of our volleyball and football games. The ocean is at the end of lawn and we enjoyed our ritual of watching the sunset together. Michael, the host, gave us great advice about local activities and food. Michael also treated us to local favorite sweets. This trip was truly paradise.

Great place for big group, we had to families with 5 adults and 8 teenagers. The separate units allowed for the kids to do distance learning with various colleges and high schools. WIFI was good and never had an interruption. Mike was always available and very responsive, great having beach chairs and paddle boards. Cannot wait to return without covid.

MUST STAY IN MAUI!!!
My family and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and our host Maui Mike! From the moment we stepped foot on the lawn-it is absolutely breathtaking. We had a large family group and the accommodations were superb! We had breakfast and dinner on the lawn most days. Lots of chairs, water shoes, snorkeling gear etc. Mike came by with stories, fruit, pastries-it was such a welcome treat. Also always willing to give a recommendation or help. The town itself is super fun with lots of restaurants, shops and of course shaved ice. We hope to come back here again and again! Maholo Mike!
