Views, views and more views! Enjoy views of the ocean, West Maui mountains and Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge from this gorgeous updated Penthouse condo at Kealia Resort. Enjoy and relax in this fully air-conditioned unit, beautifully appointed and stocked with everything you will need during your stay. Equipped with a new Flat Screen Smart TV and Digital Cable in the living room and free High-Speed Wireless Internet access.

This 1 bedroom condo is bright and open. The bedroom has a king size bed, full-sized dresser, ample closet space, a flat screen TV and a sitting nook with amazing ocean and mountain views. This is new rental unit, hence why this unit does not have reviews yet. I have a studio rental in this same resort with glowing 5 star experience ratings (please see VRBO#91648). I hold both units to the same design, maintenance and hospitality standard, so you can book this unit with confidence.

I have stocked the condo with everything you would need to make your vacation enjoyable from the moment you arrive. The fully stocked kitchen not only comes equipped with plates, utensils, glassware, cooking supplies, coffee maker, and bullet blender, but also basic pantry items (salt, pepper, sugar, cooking oil, ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, taco seasoning, soy sauce, and steak seasoning). The full bathroom is stocked with extra towels and the private washer and dryer in the unit comes with laundry soap for your convenience. A full Beach Gear Kit is available for your use (beach chairs, beach towels, and ice chest) so all you need to do is unpack and get right to enjoying your vacation.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai staring at the ocean. During Whale season (December-May) enjoy whale watching right from this lanai. Start your mornings and end your evenings with a gorgeous leisurely beach walk just steps from your room. Kealia Resort is a small complex located right on the ocean on Sugar Beach, South Maui's longest beach. The beachfront location is perfect for enjoying a BBQ dinner as you watch the evening waves at sunset. Or enjoy a book under one of the large shade trees. Kealia Resort is the last condo complex on Sugar Beach until you get to Maalaea giving it a feeling of privacy rarely found on a beach front property. Kealia Resort is a non-smoking complex.

Me and my wife honeymooned here. Could not recommend a better place. Especially if you want to stay away from the large resorts and have more privacy. Also a great central location on the island.

My wife and I spent a few days here for our wedding anniversary. It was a great place, the perfect size for two people. We were close to places in Kihei and the beach wasn't crowded at all. Stunning views! Highly recommended!

This condo was very clean and comfortable. The view from the deck was amazing. We even saw whales from the deck with our binoculars (don't forget to bring yours) and the sunsets were beautiful. Loved the condo and location. Would definitely stay again.

This property has an amazing view of the ocean and beach. Very clean, comfortable sleeping area and nice kitchen to cook a meal in. I would highly recommend this ocean front unit for your upcoming visit to Maui. Great customer experience with booking and property manager. This unit was great for my husband and me. Beautiful location, view, great beach and delightfully decorated and supplied.. The only downside was if you wanted to invite friends: no guest parking or dining table and limited space inside for more than two people. We would stay here again and make other arrangements with friends.

This condo was a really great space for two adults. Great location, right on the beach, and close to town for dinning. The space was very clean, had beach towels, beach chairs and a cooler which was very nice. Some of the towels smelt a bit like mildew, like maybe a previous tenant left them in the wash too long, but that won’t stop us from coming back. Book this place, you’ll be happy you did.

Perfect condo for relaxation
Just spent a week at this condo and it was beyond perfect. Right away we felt so comfortable and right at home and never wanted to leave. The condo was super clean and the view was to die for. We loved being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy our morning coffee and also having a perfect view of the sunset every evening. So peaceful. The building was also very quiet and the bed was super comfortable. Would definitely book again next time we visit Maui.

Perfect Stay!
Lydia’s condo unit was perfect for our 6 day stay on Maui! It was a beautifully kept unit and stocked with all the amenities (plus some) that we needed. We loved sitting out on the lanai and having coffee, relaxing right outside the unit on Sugar Beach, and the location allowed us to be centrally located to catch all we wanted on the island (Road to Hana - highly recommend Maui Skydive, Honolua Bay, Lahaina - for sunset sail, Waihee Ridge Trail, shopping in Paia…). Thank you Lydia for sharing your place with us - we had a fabulous time!

Beautiful Kihei
Kihei is a beautiful part of Maui. Lydia was quick to respond to all my questions and was happy to make suggestions about where to go/things to do. The condo suited our needs nicely, though we didn't spend a lot of our time there. It is right off the main road so expect traffic/road noise.

Perfect place for a couple / in the middle of everywhere
This property was perfect for our stay. The inside looks exactly like the pictures, very clean and had everything we needed. Cooler / beach chairs , coffee pot etc…the beach is literally down stairs walking distance and any questions I had Lydia answered at any time. She was great. The outside is not the fanciest looking place but still safe. All the food spots are down the street from this place. Airport is about a 15 min drive :) would stay here again!

We had the best 10 days at Lydia’s place! It is conveniently located close to most big sights (Haleakala, the start of the road to Hana, etc) are only 20-30 minutes away. Lydia is so thoughtful, she has SO many little things at her condo that we hadn’t thought of bringing. She also has beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a cooler which was really useful since we couldn’t fly with all that stuff. The views from the balcony are exactly as pictured. We would absolutely stay at Lydia’s place again!

This one bedroom condo was exactly what we were looking for in a nine-day vacation rental. We enjoyed breakfasts and afternoon happy hour on the lanai with a beautiful view of the ocean and green foliage. The kitchen was a perfect size for our needs. We enjoyed lengthy beach walks going both directions of the beach from the building. We made plans to return to this condo before we even left! Note - a rental car is needed to get to the Kihei restaurants or grocery store.

Perfect getaway!
Condo was super clean and comfy. Felt just like home. Had laundry which was helpful to have as well as many amenities. Property manager was very quick to answer questions and help out as needed. We really liked the location as it was close to many popular area beaches and the beach in front of condo was good for beach walks & whale watching. We didn't swim or sit on this beach much as it was quite narrow. The outdoor balcony was awesome for sunsets and for morning breakfast. Close to airport ~15 minutes and very central to both south and west Maui. Lot of great spots. We would definitely stay here again.

Never wanted to leave!
We stayed here for part of our honeymoon. I truly never wanted to leave! It was the perfect place to stay on Maui. The condo was filled with things we needed and then some! The beach chairs were helpful as the beach was just a few steps away! It was quiet and peaceful. We hope to stay here again! Lydia was super helpful and very responsive! If you are thinking about staying here--Do it! You won't regret it!

Pros: Great location on the beach but away from most tourist crowds yet a short drive from resorts and restaurants. Clean, well appointed unit. Prompt communications from the owner. Small issues: a slightly wonky elevator and an an overly soft mattress causing some back/neck soreness.

Exactly what we expected!
Many times there is something to be desired when checking in to a property because the photos highlight the few best parts. However, walking in we were so happy it was exactly perfect and what we expected! Whale watching from the balcony was great and the comfort of the condo amazing! Location, location, location! Nice quaint quiet spot but near everything! Property so pretty and nice to hang out outside! We are very happy with everything here!
