This hotel is a basic 3 star property, ideally located just a stone’s throw from the downtown core. It is within walking distance of several restaurants.
Wifi was reasonable and the rooms are well appointed with antique furnishings. The breakfast needs improvement - I was disappointed that they did not offer a buffet. The CityBlue hotel just a block away has one of the best buffets in the city with rooftop views, and it is CHEAPER than this hotel. So, the hotel should rethink their breakfast.
The rooms are quite hot and stuffy, so make sure you get a room with air conditioning. That said, the A/C is only moderately effective, because the rooms have permanently open screened windows (I could not close them).
Service, however, is wonderful. The staff do try to go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home!
