COSY COTTAGE WITH REAL FIRE AND FABULOUS VIEWS IN CARMARTHENSHIRE, WALE
Gwendraeth View is a delightful former blacksmiths cottage, over 200years old situated in a pretty village with fabulous views of the Gwendraeth Fach overlooking Carmarthenshire and Garden of Wales. The cottage is full of character with flagstone and wooden floors, beams and an open fire. Sleeps 3 in total, 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 single, Lounge with open fire, dining table and chairs, TV. We have Wifi in Gwendraeth View cottage. There is a fully equipped quirky country kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath, central heating. The cottage has lots of interesting features and there are some low ceilings. There is an outdoor seating area to enjoy the views and bbq. I happily accept one well behaved dog for which there is a small charge and there are some gorgeous local dog walks. The cottage makes a fantastic touring base for Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Convenient for Carmarthen (6 miles), Lllanelli (11 miles) and the Wales Coastal Path. We also have somewhere that you can lock up your bikes securely for cyclists. Owners live opposite the cottage and are on hand for any questions.

Comfy stay in this cosy cottage with all the facilities we needed for us 3 adults and dog. Great beaches, castles and countryside for lovely dog walks.
Very nice with a friendly host LOADS of hot water just 10 mins from Carmarthen or onto the A48 & M4 for Swansea & Cardiff

the overall property was nice but quite cold. could have done with a few well placed rugs. water hot
We enjoyed our time and the location was very good. Could do with a bit of updating. The furniture especially the sofa bed. Bed in double room very squeaky and uncomfortable. Water lovely and hot. Kitchen smaller than expected as we cooked a few days not very well equipped. Very clean rooms when we arrived and a lovely welcome letter from Heather.

200yr old Welsh cottage near perfect for our 2 night stay
Cottage was clean and tastefully presented with everything we needed to sleep and eat. We washed our clothes after 2 weeks on the go. Central heating was also really nice! Only downside was that internet access as advertised was not available. But we got by using my phone as a hotspot. The welcome pack of firewood, milk and welsh cakes was really thoughtful. Never needed to disturb Heather for anything, so thankyou.
the cottage itself was very nice but for a partially disabled person I found it cold and uncomfortable. the sofa was far to low and the chairs extremely hard even using a cushion.
Beautiful cottage in an ideal location to explore both the Gower and Pembrokeshire. The rooms are perfect in size and we loved our stay.
Heather was very helpful and when we asked for the heating to be put on the same day. Will definitely be back
Lovely place with a working fireplace and garden. Only word of caution is that the bathroom floor is very slippery so walk carefully—one of us fell the first day.
Nice house but as it was September it was getting a bit cold and damp. Time for the heating to be turned on.
The television woke us up one night, it turned itself on.
Maybe it is worth having a look at it.
very nice bungalow but situated next to a busy (during the day) road and a lane - lovely views, cosy beds, ok walks up steep hills. Close enough to the National Botanical Garden of Wales which is huge and beautiful (we got a weekly ticket and went 3 times). TV worked well and the sofa was comfy to relax after hard days walking - bath was wonderful too.
A lovely quaint quirky cottage. Very tastefully converted retaining the character of its origin. Heather is very special and will go out of her way to assist. Very happy with everything. Thank you🤗🤗
myself and three friends arranged a last minute golf break in the area... We found the cottage to be exactly as advertised.. clean and quaint.. sleeping arrangements were not ideal for our group but we knew this before we went..1 double room ,1 single and a sofa bed , but the facilities advertised could not be faulted, decent size rooms for such a small property comfy beds , good shower with constant hot water, and a small but fully equiped kitchen ..lovely views from rear of property which is set in a small and quite remote village. Due to covid restrictions we did not have much contact with the owner Heather, but she was most helpful and pleasant to deal with... All in all this cottage was fantastic value for money and we had a great time ... thank you Heather
Really liked the cottage and the lovely garden. The cottage was well equipped, warm and homely. Our only criticism (we are in our 60s!) Was the settee was low down & my husband found it difficult to get comfy as he has MS. Aside from that it was lovely and I was reluctant to leave.
Stayed for 6 nights with my husband, daughter and grandson. The cottage was very well situated for visits to local attractions and in a very quiet, pretty location. Highly recommended.
Stayed here with a friend and our dogs for a long weekend in the countryside. It was a great base for exploring the local area and Heather the owner left us some fab tips for places to take the dogs. The cottage was really clean when we arrived and a checklist of Covid cleaning requirements had been left so we were happy in the knowledge everything was well sanitised and safe for our store. A lovely holiday was had by all and we would definitely recommend to others!
Lovely, cosy cottage with real fire. Very warm and comfortable. Everything we needed for our three night stay. Welcome Welsh cakes and fresh milk when we arrived. Would highly recommend this cottage and would happily stay there again.
Fantastic stay in a lovely cottage. Amazing views across the valley and lots to do in the area.
Warm and comfortable cottage with everything we needed. Thank you.
