"It’s Authentic. Historical building with 20’ ceilings and lots of natural light. Some suites have kitchens. Parking is close by and conveniently located in the downtown district. We love Port Townsend and The Palace is the place to stay."

"This is a great place to stay. My room, at least, was right on the water where Sea Otters swim by. It is a short walk to the beautiful Old Town with plenty of bars/restaurants. Great location and comfortable room. "

"The Swan has been a wonderful place to stay! We were welcomed warmly when we checked in, and our room was immaculate and offered a nice view of the marina. It's easy to walk from the hotel to downtown restaurants and shops. And it's great to know we're benefitting the Northwest Maritime nonprofit across the street. "

"The Bishop was a blast back in time. The Victorian vibe and furnishing was well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The Bottle Shop/lobby was fun and provided live music and food in the evenings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And be sure to sit in the back garden where it’s so peaceful among the birds, flowering shrubs and large trees. "

"The Starrett House was a wonderful surprise. I felt like I was living in a museum instead of simple bed and breakfast. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and contained everything I needed. My breakfast was definitely on the gourmet side and I enjoyed sitting in the formal dining room feeling like I was a guest of the family who built the home. If you can’t spend the night, tours of the home are available and high tea events are offered. I was originally looking for a budget motel for my Port Townsend trip but then came across the Starrett House. The price was a bit more than a motel but the value of the fabulous breakfast and the ambiance of the property justified the splurge. The location is just up the hill from the historic shopping district and I was able to walk to the ferry, shops, and several eclectic dining options. If you’re coming to Port Townsend, skip the motels and treat yourself to an experience where you’ll be treated like a guest instead of a customer. "
