"Full disclosure: I was there six hours and basically slept. But the gentleman who checked me in put me in a nice first-floor room, I was able to park outside of my room, and the plumbing worked. What else is there, esp considering the price? Thanks for a nice stay when that’s exactly what I needed."

"We had a wonderful stay! The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind, which made us feel very welcome. Our room could use a few updates, but overall, it was comfortable and pleasant. "Few days ago I paid $210/night plus $50 valet parking in a “fancy” hotel in Indianapolis, what a waste of money. For $63 in American Motor Inn I got the same bed size and comfort and much better sleep. The location is safe, quiet and they have parking. The young man at the reception is kind and friendly. Great customer service. Rock Island is a very beautiful place and in few minutes drive you can visit Davenport, Iowa. We’re definitely recommend this motel and we’re planning on coming back...

"Staff was not friendly. They talk rude to you. I stay at hotels all the time for work and never have I been told that if you have someone come over to your room you will be kicked out. People live at hotel. Beds are cheap framed beds. But for the money you get what you pay for. Won’t stay again."
