Terrible, do not use!
At 7:30 pm on our day of check-in we had still not received check-in details of our home, we called the owners who then informed us that they had moved us to a different house. We were confused about this but they assured us it was an upgrade so we accepted. Upon arriving not only did the house smell of cigarettes it was also most definitely NOT an upgrade, the quality of decor was much poorer than the home we had booked. And on top of that, we discovered that despite booking a 4 bedroom house the owners felt that we only needed to use 2 of the rooms so that other rooms were locked and they were not willing to give us the codes to the other doors. In fact, it was only after accidentally shutting one of the rooms we were allowed in's door and having to call repeatedly that we were given the code to our actual rooms we were staying in, meaning that if our toddler had closed the door with him on the inside he would have been in a locked room with no way for us to access him.
We obviously contacted the owner as soon as we arrived to state that we were unhappy with this setup but she quickly became rude and aggressive and insisting that we leave the property. By this time it was 9 pm (having not even received an address until 8 pm) and far too late to find alternative accommodation especially with a child in tow. The owner then proceeded to send a 'contractor' round to check the smell despite us telling her we did not want someone turning up due to the late hour, this contractor then turned up (against our wishes) and demanded our key be returned and we leave. We refused and the contractor left but the owner then continued to text me until gone 9.30 pm despite me repeatedly telling her that we were staying and for her to stop contacting me. This was the worst experience in staying in this kind of accommodation. On top of this awful quality of service from the owner but the house was also not clean, there were pubes and hairs in the shower and drain, cigarette butts all over the garden, and stains on the bedsheets. She even went as far as to say 'this isn't a holiday home so I don't know what you expected' well we did expect a holiday home, that is what we had booked!
