Lovely townhome: Ski to Lift, Walk to Town, Private Hot tub, Sleeps 8!

We are so excited to share our Townhome at River Run! Nestled on Wood River Drive next to the bike path, this is one of the most exceptional locations in Ketchum. In three minutes walking down a secluded path, you fly fish. Several more minutes and you're at the bridge across from River Run lodge... where you can ski, hike Bald Mountain Trail, listen to a band, or have a drink. As close to ski in ski out as you can get!

This townhome has three levels: the ground floor has a bunk room that sleeps four, a full bathroom, and garage; the first floor has living room, dining room, a well appointed kitchen; and the second floor has two king bedrooms and two master bathrooms. New living room furniture graces a sunlit living room, and you can relax on the deck with a cup of coffee or a microbrew. Beautiful, in-your-face mountain views make this location wonderful, and you can see the gondola from the west bedroom. If you have children, there are two bins of toys, children's books, a pack n play, and a tag along bike. Xbox 360 is available on a large flat screen television as well.

If you want to dine out, just walk 10 minutes or so on the bike path and you're at some of the best restaurants in Idaho. Bike, fish, run, ski, or just relax … this townhome has it all.  Three bikes (in addition to the tag along) are provided for your enjoyment, and the townhouse has a private hot tub to boot!

A word on parking… the City of Ketchum does NOT allow overnight parking on city streets between November 1 and May 1. The city does have designated overnight parking areas and sends text notifications to remind people to remove their cars from the streets when a storm is approaching or winter maintenance is planned to take place. Great ski vacation
We loved this property and would absolutely stay here again. Best of both worlds - easy walk to town and the mountain. The house had everything we want for a ski vacation.

River Run Condos Unit A
Good condo with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the hot tub. The location is perfect, very short walk to the lifts. The free bus stops right out front, but we really enjoyed the beautiful walk along the river. It is only a few blocks to downtown too.

I would recommend this property to first time or repeat visitors to Ketchum, ID. This place had it all, a well equipped kitchen, entertainment (TV, Cable), and a clean ready to use hot tub. It was easy walking distance to the lifts and very close to shopping and night life. Had a great time.

Amazing location (walked to base in our ski boots), great layout, super clean. Excellent communication regarding check-in and checkout. Hot tub on site was perfect after long day on the slopes. Could have walked into Ketchum if legs weren’t so tired from skiing. 10/10!

Perfect Thanksgiving Stay
We really enjoyed this condo during our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. We could easily walk to River Run and get on the walking trail. There was plenty of room for our party of six. Sun Valley Trip
Property as advertised. Plenty of room for our family providing space for all. Close to town and bike path which we enjoyed. Great location for further activities such as day trips to Stanley for hiking and Craters of the Moon National Monument. Hot tub came in handy after several long hike, a 40 minute soak saved my body!

Perfect Location
This is a perfect location to stay if you plan on skiing, it’s a five minute walk from the chair lift. Perfect for when you get cold or need to take a break. The home was very clean and well organized. Loved that it had two master bedrooms upstairs and the kids got to enjoy the downstairs. The private hot tub was a favorite for when we got back from skiing. We hope to be able to come back again when there is more snow.

Fabulous place for our group of 7!
Very clean. Well supplied and stocked. Heated garage. This was a great home for our group of 7. The owners were easy to contact when I had several questions and just wanted us to be comfortable and enjoy our stay. I would definitely stay here again. If you are visiting in prime season definitely make restaurant reservations!

Great location for River Run Skiing
This is really nice property in an ideal location for River Run access to Bald Mountain. House is perfect for two couples and some kids ages 6 - 10. If you like to cook, not so great as the kitchen is poorly supplied with cooking equipment (old and broken). But if you order in and go out, shouldn't be an issue.

Nice place to stay, waking distance to town. Kitchen was adequate. The roof was being fixed the whole time we were there so we couldn’t really use the deck or sleep past 7am. Workers were very nice and respectful but really would have appreciated knowing this was going to be happening. Otherwise a great vacation stay

Perfect place
This is one of those reviews that I hate to write… Only because then people will find out about this great place. The set up of the house was ideal for two families. It was quiet and private yet when we wanted to be together, it had a great living area. You could walk ski to River run lodge, which was amazing… The area around the Jacuzzi was a bit slippery, and the Jacuzzi needed to be cleaned while we were there, but the hosts took good care of us. Hope to be back

Overall, a great stay and we recommend!
Very comfortable accommodation for our group of six. Quick communication with the hosts, and simple check in/out. Well-stocked kitchen. Spacious dining area for six+ adults. A couple very minor quibbles: 1) unless you pole quite a bit, it’s not really ski in/out. 2) the toilet paper holder in the second upstairs bathroom is so awkwardly located it’s essentially unusable. Again, very minor. If we are in the area again, we will look for this property!

My husband and brother-in-law were fishing a few rivers in the area. This means lots of equipment. This house easily accommodated their equipment as well as our travel stuff. The kitchen was well equipped and we made breakfast and a couple of dinners. This house is very close to town and Bald Mountain gondolas. It was great!!

Great location! Large townhouse!
This townhouse is quite large and a great choice for two families traveling together. It has 2 master suites, a bunk room and pull out couch. Easy walk down the Greenbelt to river run lodge. I took one star off for some dated features. Towels are small and well used, some with bleach spots.Cups are chipped, water dispenser on fridge didn’t work, remote on master bedroom fireplace was difficult to use. It’s a great place to stay, but could use a refresh and fix up on a few of these things.

This condo was great for our purposes. Excellent location near Bald Mountain. We were traveling with my brother-in-law so the two master bedroom suites worked really well. One thing to note, this condo has a lot of stairs. This is clear from the description, but became clearer to us after long days of hiking and mountain biking. The main living level is up one flight of stairs, and the master bedrooms are up another, and there are bathrooms only on the 1st and 3rd floors. Also the wifi connectivity was terrible. If you're hoping to work remotely from this location you'll have trouble.
