"We enjoyed our stay - the property was clean and is well looked after. It is a traditional chalet in a private holiday park which has some good amenities - at an extra cost. We appreciated the help from the owner when we needed it and was helpful at answering our queries before our stay. There are a few things that would make our score excellent - clarity of cost of electricity and instructions in the chalet of how to use it would have been helpful. Excellent stay.

"Stayed at the hotel for a wedding. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I would definitely return to the hotel. The room was excellent with everything I needed. The bed was really comfy and the pillows were so lovely. Lovely cooked breakfast and great alternative selection. "

Great value for money, I'll be back.

"Perfect onsite parking directly outside the hotel. 5mins walk to the beach and other attractions, shops, arcades etc. Old building with dated decor, carpets and rooms. Still had everything needed to have an enjoyable stay, fridge, microwave and kettle in room. A lift in main reception which I used to take my luggage up to 3rd floor. At £35 a night, I will definitely be booking again. Very pleasant front of house staff 😊"

"We only stayed one night, but in that short time we were very impressed with the hotel room & food we had room at the front of the hotel it was a nice large room with a shower room with toilet and a large double bed. We had dinner and breakfast & both were excellent. Would not hesitate to stay again."

Still keeping its charm

"I always like staying at the Hatfield. Its been 15 years ive been staying and i just think its a lovely cheerful place to stay. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Food is good and the service is quick. The rooms are comfortable and warm. It reminds me of how hotels used to be, its like going back in time, in a good way. Well done to all keeping the Hatfield charming and warm."
