"We loved our stay here, it’s very spread out so you feel like you have a lot of space. It’s beautiful inside and outside, very comfortable with good facilities. The extras like the tea and coffee and toiletries were of very good quality. We used the spa (which you need to book) and the gym, both were small but had everything you needed. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and return."

"I read reviews beforehand that said hotel was tired/dated. More rustic charm. Room and bathroom were really spacious and spotless. The staff were attentive and friendly. Food was lovely especially the venison burger and chilli beef. Perfect location if visiting Oldfield Forge. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely visit again. "

"A very enjoyable and relaxing couple of days in this gorgeous spa hotel. Room was huge, bed was comfy, breakfast was delicious, spa had everything I needed, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Meeting Lady Hattie was the icing on the cake! "

It was a trip away for my birthday and everyone went out of their way to make my stay memorable for all the right reasons.
