"Great peaceful compound, but I was lucky to get in - having booked and paid for a nonrefundable room on Expedia the day before, on arrival they didn't know anything about it and said they were sold out. After about an hour they resolved it. My double room small cottage was rustic but very clean - no bugs or anything similar. "I had an extremely disappointing experience when I booked a stay at this property. After arriving at Nairobi airport, I took an Uber to the location, arriving just around midnight. Upon arrival, we waited at the gate for approximately 15 minutes before a man came out. He appeared either upset or as though he had been woken up, and immediately demanded to know if the reservation had been paid. "We stayed one night, after arriving late evening to the airport and departing early morning to Safari tour. The place is not far from Airport which was convenient. It's within residential area, gated community. It was OK except quite hard to find for our driver/guides. The room was basic but sufficient. Bathroom was OK but could use some improvements, we were not very lucky with hot water. Breakfast was good and the host was welcoming and friendly."
