"Welcoming staff and brand new fittings etc. Room was soundproof and airconditioning worked well and quiet despite the electricity propblems facing Zambia. There are some teething proplems with especially the toilet and the interconnecting room is not soundproof at all. Could clearly hear my neighbour."

"We stayed here for a night on a stopover through Lusaka. I initially thought this was a retreat closer to the airport as airport shuttle was advertised. I confirmed the distance and was told 25-35 minutes, it was more like an hour and 10 minutes. They have beautiful grounds, great staff and they did provide airport transit. The stay comes with activities, so if you have time and are looking for a retreat for some days, might be a good spot. The animals come down to the main grassy area in the afternoon, unfortunately we left before that time. We had some room issues with the water heater, but staff worked hard to overcome challenges. Great morning walk and they offer game drives on the property. We'd just come from a safari adventure filled week so wildlife wasn't that important to us. If you have kids or want a wildlife retreat, may be a good stop."

"First, the place is on beautiful grounds. There are monkeys and parrots and cuckoos in the trees and it is very lush and green. Inside is not so great. Water pressure was marginal for the shower- just a trickle. The bed was a plastic-encased hard mattress covered with a top sheet. The AC and the WiFi worked, but this was not worth the price at all. Plus, though it seems close to LUN on the map, it isn’t. 30 min taxi to get there. "

"The property was under construction outside, with new guest rooms being added. Our room was huge and comfortable, but basic in it's features, especially the washroom. The staff were flawless, polite and helpful in every way. The food was simple but served very hot and tasty and everything was spotlessly clean throughout. Loved the thatch-roofed bar out back."
