"If you want to get away to the most peaceful place in the most perfect home, you need to stay here! Our friends decided to tube the Kennebec River and stay in this lovely house. It was perfect for all twelve of us! "I checked in at 6pm on Aug 20th, the hotel office building was dark with a “closed” sign hanging in the front. I then called the office and surprisingly I could neither talk to anyone nor leave a voicemail because the mail box was full. It was upsetting that this hotel completely disregarded their customers in such an unprofessional manner. I was left high and dry and had to rearrange my hotel booking in the evening. The place is in close proximity to a few convenience and grocery stores, as well as many restaurants and beautiful hiking trails in a ski village. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we enjoyed the balcony at the back of the place, which has a view of the river. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and this place was a great spot for us to relax after busy days in Sugarloaf. "
