"Property is in a nice location close to the water, bed was comfortable. This is a house converted to an Inn, as mentioned in other reviews the walls are paper thin & you can hear everything. Had the place been full it would have been terrible. Booked this at least 7 mos ago, every other place we booked that would have changes as far as breakfast or food available messaged me to let me know that, this place did not, We show up no breakfast & not even creamer for coffee. "So far this has been the best property we have stayed at in Alaska. The home is perfectly appointed, reasonably priced for what you get, private, quiet street, great host! The home has been updated and the bathroom spa is really nice!!"

"Gorgeous view, incredible breakfast and very accommodating. Allowed us to store our bikes in their garage due to rain. It’s a popular spot cause of how awesome it is so it was fully booked when we stayed. Everyone was nice and courteous however the walls and doors aren’t well insulted so you could hear murmuring through the rooms and all the plumbing. Not the end of the world by any means, and it didn’t deter us from continuing our multi night stay! The hosts more than make up for the thin...

"This guest house was a fun place to fish for Sockeye Salmon! The pier was perfect to catch and clean the salmon. The host met us as we pulled into the property and showed us around. The guest house was clean and very nice! The host also provided us waders and helped process our catch!"

"It was way overpriced for what was supplied. Lack of soap and shampoo."

"This was a lovely place to stay, serene and quiet, except for the occasional float plane landing or taking off. My husband enjoyed working from here while keeping an eye on the resident loons and float planes. Alice was very easy to work with, and very responsive to my communications."

"Our room was nice, clean and cozy. But sharing one toilet with joint shower and washing basin with a family with children was a bit inconvenient. The host is excellent and location is good ."

"The quiet location with windows and a deck overlooking the river offered great views and wildlife viewing. The owner, Russ, was very hospitable and provided helpful information about the area. Definitely would stay here again.A great beginning to our Alaska experience!"
