"A lovely, well-equipped house in a stunning location with its own fabulous garden. Brilliant for our family group of 10. Lots to do locally. The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. Highly recommended."

Twee slaapkamers (geen 3). De woonkamer kan als (3e) slaapkamer dienen d.m.v. een slaapbank. Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst en gastheer. Behulpzaam en verder niet zichtbaar. "This is a very unique property in that you check yourself in through a machine and locate your room by yourself. There is a communal dining area where you can prepare your own food. We had an issue with noise, being at the front of the hotel, and the manager who was present in the morning moved us and upgraded us to a remarkable room with a balcony! This is a beautiful property! It is very unique. The service was outstanding!"

"Minor suggestion! When you know your guests are from America, I think it is a safe bet to provide still vs sparkling water! 😝 but the thought was still appreciated! Thanks and hope to stay again!"

"I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. They recommended great options for outings and helped me with shipping a parcel back to the US. The breakfast was really good (one of the best during my two weeks in Germany.) Beautiful property and the room was clean and well maintained. Would recommend and return."

Great location and value including parking

"This was an apartment that included parking in a great location. Once we parked our car we walked everywhere. There was also a washing machine which was great! No dryer though. I would definitely stay again. The only thing I would recommend is watch your emails after you reserve, there is a lengthy check in process that you do online. I didn’t realize this and we arrived and couldn’t get in because I had not completed this (my fault, not theirs) They were extremely helpful and responsive and got us in quickly. Once we figured out the system it was really easy and very secure getting in and out. "

"Lovely place to stay and relax, great pool and sauna facilities. Nice restaurant and bar and easy parking. Nothing else around except a separate Italian restaurant which was basic but served fab food at good prices - a nice alternative to the hotel’s own restaurant. Safe and easy parking."
