"Our hosts were wonderful and very helpful. They even offered to pick us up from the train station. The room was clean functional with a good shower. The European style breakfast was excellent. The location was quiet and yet, only 30 seconds walk from the main street with shops and the Christmas markets. Would highly recommend. "

"The stay was great! Very friendly hosts that went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The only thing I'd say is to be sure you plan ahead if you will rely on public transportation, as bus schedules can be limited on weekends/evenings. Additionally, securing a rideshare can be difficult as well due to the remote location. However, if you speak German, it's rather easy to call the RMV to reserve busses after hours, but you must do so 60 minutes in advance :) Overall a great experience and...

"In dorpje geen fatsoenlijke eetgelegenheid open op zondag. Niets te beleven. Eigenaar was niet aanwezig bij aankomst, moesten zelf bellen om instructies voor appartement te krijgen, en erin te kunnen. Oubollige inrichting. Wel schoon. Douche was niet warm. Goede parkeergelegenheid. "

"Was so quiet we could not believe it . And there was a full moon . Good to get away from it all Staff delightful . Slow internet so enjoy the peacefulness. Great breakfast! Had a shower head malfunction but we fixed ourselves. Would have liked a few more signs on road to get there. Not all rooms have kitchen or Cabnets . Need to let owner know if can’t do stairs .( 4 people master in loft with attic stairs )"

"This was an exceptional experience. Very personal , very friendly, warn and cozy room. "

"We liked the serenity of the place. The room was big & the bed comfortable. Breakfast was very pleasing. Staff were lovely. The only thing we did not like was the very loud squeaky floorboards when you get up through the night to go to the bathroom."

"We really enjoyed our stay with Ingrid and Helmut. They truly care about the guests who stay with them. Ingrid took extra time to find times for local tours we were interested in and looked up and printed out the details for our train out of town. As other reviewers have noted, breakfast is fantastic and the room was comfortable. We would definitely stay with them again if we were in the area."

"The stay at this hut was amazing. Very clean, modern, spacious, quiet at night and with comfortable beds. Small kitchen with induction hob, fridge and microwave. There's a restaurant+bar next door where you can enjoy food+drinks, it's especially nice in the evening by the little stream. There's a terrace in front of every hut, where you can enjoy your meals or morning/evening drinks. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. "The Houseboat Villa Nautica is not for everyone. My wife and I are 70 and enjoy staying in unique accommodations such as the tented camps in Kenya.
