This superb staycation property uniquely transformed from the old town fire station is located on a quiet street just around the corner from the town centre and is an amazing place to stay. 

The open plan kitchen lounge is a great place to relax after a days exploring around the town. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need for a self catering stay including dishwasher, cooker, fridge and freezer. The lounge area has a comfy corner sofa, 50inch flat screen TV and a dining table making it a central hub for the family. 

The property boasts three bedrooms, two doubles and one single with super comfy beds ensuring a great nights sleep.

Ideal for a quick getaway or longer stays, the whole property benefits from a light and airy feel that compliments the modern boutique style throughout. 

 Parking is directly at the side of the property give easy access to and from your vehicle. 

The area has great cycle routes and fantastic walks just minutes away. Wonderful borders countryside, just a short drive to Tweedbank train station where parking is free. The Tweedbank rail line links to Edinburgh City Centre in under an hour.

If you fancy a trip to the beach, Berwick is just a 40 minute drive from Kelso. 

Kelso is a rich place with some great architecture from the Abbey to the breath taking Roxburgh Castle with some amazing grounds to explore.

If you want to sit and relax you can do so in the square - Its massive, with lovely old roads.

Kelso
Great location and very modern. I like a traditional feel more than the modern but it had everything one needed. However, there was less than 1 role of toilet paper between both bathrooms combined and no soap or shampoo, napkins, paper towels, dish brushes or clothes wash so come prepared. Also, the garbage outside was filled to overflowing before we arrived and we were unable to clean up our kitchen. Apparently, per the neighbor, this is an ongoing problem. The beds were a little uncomfortable. To end on a better note, the place was renovated nicely and the location was very convenient to the town center. Parking is available for one vehicle.
