"Just a couple of nights mid-week to attend our nieces wedding. Provided all necessary amenities, a perfect set up. Lovely views in rural location. Really helpful proprietor who kindly returned my kindle. Really enjoyed our, short, but enjoyable stay. Thank you"

"The family and I loved our stay in this lodge. It is a lovely setting on the lake and had everything we needed for a relaxed holiday. It was very spacious with room for all. Phillipa and her team were on hand to help should we need it. In all a lovely successful family holiday we would love to repeat."

"I liked the bedroom with mini fridge tea/coffee making items. I liked the large shower and the fact it was quiet and warm. I didnt like small cups i think mugs would be better. The extractor fan in bathroom didnt work, there is a little mold around the shower tray. The bathroom floor needs grouting in parts. The garden is a big eyesore full of weeds etc not useable for anyone staying. The whole property was spotlessly clean. I had no english tea bags in my room but found some in the kitchen...

"A lovely 2 day break at the lakes, so peaceful and relaxing. Spa is great too and we pretty much had it to ourselves most of the time. Food in the tipi was also great, would have liked to have seen some more sweet breakfast and healthy options though. It would also be great if there was an on-site shop to buy any groceries/essentials to save having to drive elsewhere."

"A short, two night, break at The Barn was very homely and relaxing. The weather didn’t behave but that didn’t dampen a lovely and welcoming stay. The host was first class with communication which is always a bonus. Highly recommend this property."
