"This was a fun night out in the middle of nowhere. A great location to stargaze or catch the northern lights if it's clear! The camper was in perfect shape, a big deck out front with lots of room for sitting outside. They are building things in the campground, it would be cool to see hot tubs go in!"

"Old place that feels like you are dropped into a different era. Room was really hot. Kept the window open all night and it slightly cooled down. No fridge to use which I think they should have. But staff provided me ice which was nice of them. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"When we turned off the road toward the property, we thought our GPS wasn't working. It looked like we were going out into a beautiful, remote area with nothing but views. True, except for the wonderful cabins and main area of this property. Really nice and quiet and remote with beautiful views everywhere. A short drive to local eateries and a great stop on the tour of Iceland"

"Headline: fine for a night, not more. Its a quaint horse farm by the volcanic ridge, but the term "hótel" is misleading - its a nice hostel, not a hotel. The bathrooms are laeger than the rooms in the guest houses, I cant speak to the cottages. Note, there is no cold storage on site. The beds were very, very small (and I am 5' 3"). The room was nice but mildewy and a bit cold. The staff kept is pretty clean otherwise. I had to bother the front desk several times about how to check in, but...
