"A really lovely weekend at the Lakes Hotel and Spa. The Windermere Suite was amazing. Only areas of attention was no water freely available, had to queue at the bar for a glass of water so one day I was waiting 15 mins for a glass of water. I’ve never been to a spa that doesn’t have water jugs available on the side. Also the spa area got busy and a few more hooks would lead to less people using up the chairs to put their towels and robes on. A separate relaxation room for reading and lounging...

"We stayed for 2 nights and i was impressed with the hotel. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was really good and selection was plentiful. The only down side was the parking £15 a day i think they should review that policy but overall A+++"

"Stayed in the Winander Club, room 888 which was excellent. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we had our own reception area which was quick. Our room as on the top floor with only one other room. We had a really comfortable bed, bath in main room, good. Size bathroom with nice products and complimentary sweets. But by far the best selling point is the room balcony with amazing views of lake Windermere. Nothing better than...

"A lovely one night stay at The Windermere Hotel. Really nice staff and a lovely bed to rest your head after a day out in Bowness for drinks and a meal. Very decent breakfast too. Hotel might need a little ‘love’ but I’d definitely stay there again "
