"This is a beautiful traditional hotel with lots of memorabilia from famous people who have stayed there. It is spacious and comfortable with many choices of restaurants serving a variety of foods. The only downside is in wet weather many outdoor tables/seating aren’t usable. We particularly enjoyed the high tea and watching the criminal lowering of the flag at dusk. All staff members are courteous and friendly."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Manadrina. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful and it was great to have a restaurant on site. Rooms were comfortable. The buffet breakfast had a good international selection but it would have been nice to have a larger selection of fruit. The service for fresh egg dishes probably needed more staff to better cope with demand. Overall a great stay and would stay here again "

"We stayed for two nights. ALL of the staff are BRILLIANT and looked after us really well. The room was spacious and the rain-shower incredible… probably the best I’ve had. The on-site Indian restaurant was excellent as was breakfast. Easy to walk around the area and just 5 minutes to Park Street for loads of good dining options. Wholeheartedly recommend Taj Samudra.
