Lovely cottage, views stunning. Would love to come and stay again if available!
We have stayed at this property several times now as our daughter is at uni in Leeds.
We absolutely love it here it’s like home from home.
It has a big wrap around garden that is super dog friendly and safe.
The views are stunning and some beautiful walks in the area.

This is the second time staying here and it was just as lovely as the first time. The cottage had everything we could ask for and the views were lovely from the bedroom windows in the mornings. Perfect stay
Our eighth stay at Croft cottage - that tells you everything. It’s an ideal location and has everything you need for a brilliant stay.
It’s a great base for exploring the surrounding area.
Lovely clean comfortable cottage surrounded by fields and sheep with a great view looking down the valley onto Silsden. We will definitely be rebooking again for another relaxing peaceful stay.
A 2 night stay while we visited family in the area
Spacious cottage
Huge garden which needed attention (very overgrown)

We had 3 nights at the cottage and wish we could have stayed longer, plenty of space for us the dog and 2 grandchildren! The property has all the home comforts and is clean and very comfortable, would love to return one day, thank you
We really enjoyed this as a base to explore Ilkley and the surrounding moors. My toddler loved waking up each day to look out at the sheep from her window, and the house has great outside space although was a bit windy when we visited in mid-September!
Lovely views from this spacious well equipped cottage. We enjoyed a very good fortnight here, mainly travelling to the nearby dales for walks and views.
A stunning place, perfect in every way. Family loved the location, and the amenities in the house where perfect. We walked a couple of areas in the dales, the entry porch was perfect for keeping separation between the wet and the dry. House was lovely and warm, the joy of using wood burner was for fun - reinforcing the feeling of being immersed in the landscape.
We have just returned form 2 nights at this fantastic property. The owners have basically just made it home from home. It is extremely cosy, warm, modern but still old and perfect for anyone. Probably better for adults as it is fairly remote and has fantastic views.
Our only complaint is that we didnt stay longer and will definitely look at returning at some point. Will definitely recommend. Thank you.
Our second visit to Croft Cottage within 3 months. Fabulous location. Easy to catch the train into Leeds. The scenery is breathtaking. Family who love in Leeds can visit us, rather than us booking into a hotel and having to leave the dogs with dog sitters. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms are perfect! See you soon Croft Cottage :)
Beautiful clean cottage. Every thing w needed. Very clean.Great views. We are 3 OAP,s and will be going back again.
Little bit messy out side with mud and unfinished entrance but this work is in progress.
Stayed in lots of places but this is one of the best. Liz &Co
Great location, not far from the city but you feel like you are in the countryside with the lovely views. Lots of logs supplied for the fires.
Very spacious. Better in person than in the photos!
The only negative i would say are a couple of maintenance issues that have not been dealt with for some time, but didnt really cause any problems and i think is reflected in the price.

Beautiful Cottage in lovely surroudings near to Skipton and other amenities.
The cottage is lovely we could not fault the cleanliness and the facilities. We read beforehand that there are two fires that they would be made up and wood would be provided. They weren't and there was only a small amount of kindling. It also said that some milk, eggs cake/biscuits would be there on arrival but there weren't any. If they are not providing these items please do not say you are. We hade a lovely stay and would recommend this property to other people. We visited Skipton, went on the Steam railway. Visited Bolton Abbey, Ingleton water falls. They are all worth visiting.
The cottage is set in its own grounds. To the front door there is a small garden that looks out over a field with sheep. It is gated but if you have dogs you will need to bring something to block them from going under the gate (there's a huge gap). To the side and back there is a bigger garden that gets all the late afternoon sun. Inside, the lounge is full of light from the large windows on three sides and a patio door. Some issues mentioned previously have been resolved. There is a large TV with lots of channels and there was also lots of wood. The main issue seems to be a radiator in the lounge that needs repairing and has leaked on the carpet leaving an unsightly mess. Instructions on what to do with the coals in the log fires would be useful and where do you put the ashes. Also, info on how the central heating works and what to do with the recycling would be useful. Lovely location in a rural setting but close to Silsden, Skipton and Ilkley.
A wonderful home from home. The photographs really don’t give the cottage its full justice. Very comfortable, roomy and warm upon arrival. Amy had given the home a festive feel and ensured heating on during the nasty weather previous to our arrival. We were also warned of potential snow so we were prepared. Although wet and windy, the wood burning stoves kept us warm and snug with plenty of wood available. Our dog enjoyed the large garden which will be lovely in the warmer months with super views and not overlooked. Well-equipped especially for Christmas dinner once we found the cutlery drawer. This is hidden inside the the top of pan drawers next to the kitchen dining table. Minor snags would be, wet washing (linen) left in the machine and tumble dryer, food left in freezer and the left hand side of the range cooker couldn’t be used due to a faulty door. All of which did not affect our stay, whatsoever. Thank you Amy, a super home from home where you helped make the cottage feel festive with some welcome, festive gifts and great communication beforehand. We hope to visit again to see family in 2023. Happy New Year!

Basically good but needs an information pack
It has been refurbished, spacious and comfortable and excellent location.
On the negative side there is no TV or Radio - just streaming so you cant see current TV programmes - disappointing if you wanted to watch the Lionesses final!
There was a dirty cup of coffee in the microwave and the toaster had not been cleaned. oven pans needed a good clean.Kitchen table had a sticky surface and was unpleasant to use. Cleaning therefore needs attention to details.
Also the hob needs attention - one burner had an airlock and burned yellow emmitting fumes which made me feel dizzy - dangerous -it needs to be checked and you need a carbon monoxide monitor.
The joining instructions arrived late - expected them as soon as payment had been taken not just a few days before the holiday. The instructions from the owner versus Vrbo were confusing, different and not clear . Don't expect Americanese in a UK cottage!
There was no instructions pack for any equipment; no local phone numbers or recommendations - provision of this would improve the holiday.
Croft cottage was sympathetically renovated to a good standard. Some of the furniture was well used but in keeping. Amy put the heating on for us prior to arrival, and we used one of the log burners too, so it was much warmer than I anticipated from viewing the photos. The location was great too; it feels rural but is in walking distance (at least in one direction!) of Silsden, with all the usual amenities of a mid-size town. Two things stood out as odd, though:
1) The beds were not made up for our arrival. Clean bedding was provided but we had to see to it ourselves.
2) We searched high and low but could only find one sharp knife (a small paring knife.) This was odd as the kitchen was otherwise superbly well equipped.
