Rustic Cottage Retreat

This Rustic Cabin Retreat is surrounded by trees for privacy on 5+ acres, but is very close to town for the conveniences you may want while on a getaway! Cabin offers a full kitchen, bath, living room with wood fireplace, main floor bedroom with a set of double bunk beds, and a loft with a queen bed. The outside is full of trees, a trail, a small pond, and the creek. Wilderness galore with deer, turkeys, birds of all kinds! There's a "kid's fort" nestled into the trees that offers a little fun privacy for the includes a mini fridge, microwave, bean bags, futon in the loft, and a TV for watching DVD's.

Birdwatching in Kearney
This is a great spot to stay while watching the Sandhill Crane migration. Close to all the good birding spots! And so nice to come back and relax by the fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen. We'll be back!

Location!!!
I travel to Kearney for work quite a bit. This place was perfect for my family. It is so close to town yet you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The seclusion was perfect for my family and I. We enjoyed our stay and walking the trails throughout the property! 5 stars for sure!

Crane watching trip
This is a quiet and cozy spot. We spent all day hiking trails and watching sandhill cranes. It was great to come back to build a warm fire, cook a nice meal in the fully equipped kitchen, and get a good night's sleep!

Far enough off the beaten path, but close enough to the city for conveniences. This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway! Very clean! The fireplace was a fantastic place to stay warm during the chilly weather! Perfect, perfect, perfect!

Easter dinner with our UNK students
The location and property was perfect for us to have a home away from home Easter dinner. The weather was windy but with the setup of the property we were able to be outside the enjoy the sun all day as well as a beautiful sunset! We had an added bonus of crane watching as they fly right over this location.

Great Family Trip
Our stay was perfect! The check-in process was very easy, and the owners were great about communicating. The cabin was so much fun. My kids always had plenty to do whether they were inside or outside. The location is close to town and everything is just about 10 minutes away. My four year old kept saying this place was amazing and she rated it a 20 out of 10. This is a great place to get away from the city and spend some quality family time.
