"We went for one night as a Christmas present. Was really looking forward to using the spa. A bit disappointed as we could hardly find a spot to put our robes & towel as it was packed. Not the hotels fault though as I think a few guests were staying as they had no electricity or water, due the extreme storm we had. Couldn’t use the outdoor pool or go on a walk in the grounds because of this. Will just have to come back, hopefully. Staff are all lovely and so was the food."

It was not obvious when I booked the room via Expedia but the bed was a smallish double, thankfully the hotel kindly upgraded us to a larger bed. "The staff, especially Robert were really friendly, hospitality and nothing was too much for them to do every request was replied with “no bother”. We arrived earlier than the check in time and as the room was ready they checked us in. They also allowed us an extra 30 minutes late check out. The breakfast was very delicious, the smoothie was made with banana but the chefs were happy to make one for me with bananas. Overall it’s was a good stay. The staff’s pleasantness was the best. "
