House Rules (must meet these to book): Sleeps 8 (max 6 adults), Saturday - Saturday only during the summer (last week of June - start of Sept), Lead guest must be 30+ years old. No pets allowed. Bed linens & towels are not provided, there are ample pillows and blankets/comforters. The pool is available from the start of Victoria Day weekend through September only. Guests must provide their own child-size life jackets/PFDs to ensure a correct fit. No parties allowed. No smoking allowed. A supplemental information form must be completed.
Please note: Permits to allow restoration of the Shoreline have been granted and the stonework to reinforce the shore has begun. This project in addition to a new firepit is estimated to be complete by May 2023. A new dock is also anticipated to be in place by the end of July 2023. While every effort will be made to complete the work as planned, it cannot be guaranteed and refunds will not be offered in the event of unexpected delays
Who is up for a morning dip in a sparkling swimming pool? Then a morning coffee taken on the deck overlooking a beautiful lake. Follow that up with a paddle out on the water and an hour or two of fishing from the shoreline.
End the day with aperitifs in the sunroom before the BBQ and great conversation around the campfire.
And that is just day one.
Inside you’ll find a light and airy space with living and formal dining areas on the main floor with a sunroom overlooking the pool where you can play foosball or watch a movie. The upper level has a kitchen and dining space with doors to a deck. The three bedrooms are on this floor.

Pigeon Lake is shallow and prone to some weeds, so swimming from the shoreline isn’t the best. Fishing is great! If you want the beach experience, Emily Provincial Park is less than 10 minutes away. Take a picnic, hike the trails, and wade out to swim from the beach.

This cottage is licenced for short-term rental in the City of Kawartha Lakes; Licence # STR2024-53. The Municipality requires rental guests sign a Rental Guest Code of Conduct. It will be sent to you upon booking for electronic signature.

Trivia Pigeon Lake forms part of the Trent-Severn waterway and is 27 km long and up to 3 km wide. The most common game fish in the lake are smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, walleye, yellow perch, carp, muskellunge as well as a number of species of panfish. Commercial and recreational fishing has resulted in the introduction of zebra mussels, which change the ecosystem by filtering the water and making it clearer. Some fish, such as Walleye, dislike the clear water and have become less abundant.
