"Hotel was empty, asked for a room with a better view (a few doors from our room) so that we can see the ocean unobstructed. There were no difference in rates in the rooms. The service agent lied to us that the hotel was fully booked (I could have reserved 10 rooms on Expedia that minute) and did not even look at our request. The room was dirty so was the washroom. Clearly they want to be an upscale resort but are really not."

"Hotel Carlia provided us a comfortable stay for our one night in Uddevalla. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains conveniently shielded us from any of the light during midsummer.
