"Amazing location with great service. Everyone was very kind and friendly, especially the 2 ladies who served helped us to our room and served dinner and breakfast. Very convenient location right next to many of the bathhouses. Everything was confortable and enjoyable."

"A wonderful property with very lovely staff who were friendly and helpful. The onsens on the property were great.. We appreciated being a touch further from the public onsens because despite the amount of people walking around in the evening, it was still very peaceful. Very comfortable tatami beds and the traditional breakfast is a must if you really want to immerse yourself in the experience. Spacious rooms and with respectful guests who were quiet, it was a very enjoyable place to stay. Would recommend staying here and will tell fellow travellers to please respect the traditions of the Ryokan and understand this is a place for a quiet peaceful stay, which we were delighted to be able to enjoy. "We loved it here so much!!!! The inn is so beautiful and right in the middle of all the onsens. Also includes its own onsen. I have no complaints about this ryokan. I didn’t catch the name of the woman who checked us in but she was soooo lovely and spoke great English as well :) 10/10"

"Where to start, this Ryokan was spectacular. The hotel is beautiful in its traditional style with extremely friendly staff who couldn't have done more. The hotel is a nice ten minute walk from the main area but offer free transfers from the hotel to the onsens. We never used it because the walk was so pleasant. The onsen they provide is lovely with an indoor and outdoor area, the traditional set meals they have was equally brilliant. We will absolutely come back here in the future!"

"This hotel is beautiful, extremely clean and attention is paid to every detail. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room which was a wonderful experience. The tatami beds were so fluffy and comfortable. They provide robes and slippers so you can visit the 7 hot spring bath houses in the village. Breakfast was also very good. It’s pricey but well worth it for a one of a kind experience!"

"Enjoyable place to stay. Spa was nice though it was closed the hour before check out, so it was not super convenient. We couldn’t get double beds in the room, which was not ideal for a honeymoon. Still had a good time. "
