"We came to Meteora because of the monasteries, but absolutely loved the area itself. The scenery is spectacular, serene, and had a really tranquil vibe to it. The hotel was great, the staff really special. They helped us arrange a special father’s Day dinner, custom food order prepared in the hotel kitchen and served with style and grace. Special thanks for this experience to our server Georgia and the chef Niko! Highly recommend doing the hike up to the Holy Trinity monastery from Kalampaka. It’s off the beaten path and a strenuous hike up but we found it to be the one monastery with a true monasterial atmosphere. "

"Guesthouse Lithos is a welcoming, helpful & friendly place to stay. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Our room had a large balcony looking out towards the stunning Meteora. The room itself was very comfortable, a nice roomy double, with everything we needed. The guesthouse was located close to the village square, a geological museum and plenty of other dining options. A taxi was also close by. While we were there it was very hot, but in cooler temperatures it would be very easy to access hiking paths. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. We paid for our breakfast which was very generous and definitely worth the money. We highly recommend staying at Guesthouse Lithos. "

"The hotel has a wonderful breakfast and is very close to Kastraki- a short and hilly walk. We weee able to rent e-bikes in Kastraki for the day and used them to visit each monastary. (Many people don’t know about this option). The hotel provides great robes as well as slippers. Big room and bathroom; great balcony. We had a view of the rock columns and Kastraki. Staff was helpful and we would stay again. "
