"A very unique property that does not fit any criteria neatly. Our room has a separate dining room and basic kitchen. Yes the property is old but it’s not tired. It is family run with great pride. And what a location right under the rocks of Meteora and within walking distance of three of the monasteries for those who are ready for the steps. You do need nerves of steel to drive up the narrow streets to get to the hotel!"

"We were more than thrilled with our stay at Mones! From the amazing quiet location- nestled among the towering Meteora rocks; to the stunning design of the building and rooms; to the exemplary service, we couldn’t have been happier. "Guesthouse Lithos is a welcoming, helpful & friendly place to stay. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Our room had a large balcony looking out towards the stunning Meteora. The room itself was very comfortable, a nice roomy double, with everything we needed. The guesthouse was located close to the village square, a geological museum and plenty of other dining options. A taxi was also close by. While we were there it was very hot, but in cooler temperatures it would be very easy to access hiking...

"The place isn't air-conditioned and no one speaks English (despite advertising otherwise, on both items). Complaints are ignored (e.g. problems with bathrooms WiFi). There are so many nice hotels in the village, go somewhere else. We actually had to leave after one night as it was unbearable."

The sunsets were beautiful ftom my mountain view,also it was close to go hiking, and bus stop, and mini market, and restaurants. staff is friendly and helpful.
