"We had our annual extended family get away here vs staying in northern MN or Wisc. We all enjoyed how close it was to our actual homes (MPLS and St Paul) and were impressed with all the amenities, like towels, soap, toilet paper. Past experience we’ve had properties that only leave you one roll of toilet paper (example). The fire pit was wonderful and the host responsive when we had a request. We would definitely come back again! "

"This is a gorgeous property with beautiful views, thoughtfully designed and artfully executed. There is plenty of space for a large gathering - we were 17, including 8 kids ages 4 - 15. There are many different hang out areas, so you never feel like you are on top of one another. We cooked most days, and the kitchen was well supplied and functioned well. The basement is great, especially for kids and teens (and adults who want to play). We had some crazy ping pong games, learned country line...

The land around the cabin was so spacious and beautiful to walk around. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing area, and Carl and Ann were so kind. "What a great spot to stay - you won't be disappointed! Some colleagues and I stayed at this property during a business conference in Mankato - what a retreat to escape to at the end of the day! The hot tub is an wonderful treat, and the game room an excellent addition - three grown men spent way too much time playing games during our off hours! This property is clean and has everything you need, with close proximity to the University, restaurants and down tow. you can't miss with this one!"

"We were in town for my sons wedding and wanted a dog friendly place to stay. The Lodge was absolutely amazing and has so much charm! There were 11 adults and 3 dogs for the weekend. There was plenty of room for all of us. The house was filled with everything we could have needed from coffee to shampoo. Highly recommend!!"
