"Duncan Lake Escape is the most amazing getaway! The drive is beautiful and once you arrive you’ll feel like you’ve truly escaped to a relaxing retreat in the middle of nowhere! The cabin is quite spacious but cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has all the tools you need to prepare your meals and drinks away from home (from a cocktail shaker, mixer, cake and muffin tins, plenty of dishes, mixing bowls, casserole dishes, etc). "We were a group of four couples, it was great to stay in a large house with sufficient bedrooms and a large kitchen and dining area. The check-in and check out process was easy and well communicated, the recent snow had been taken care of so parking was easy and it was nice to be able to park in the garage."

There is plenty of room to spread out in the house, the bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious, the dining table seats a large group comfortably, and the game room kept everyone entertained! And our hosts were quick to respond to inquiries and ensured an easy check in process with helpful instructions on house amenities. We had to go buy our own can opener and there was issue with stink bugs around the house & in our beds. So we had to re wash bedding but other than "

"Great location if visiting Kaslo area. New home with all ammenities we needed for a multiple day stay. Quiet location with great view of mountains and adjoining forest and we were even treated to some grazing wildlife. Owner very responsive and easy to connect with. Highly recommended except on preferred dates of our next visit. "

"We spent 3 nights at the rental and the views are breathtaking! The owners are great with communication and easy to get ahold of. There is sooo much privacy and we loved all the little touches inside and out. Interesting and unique decorations inside and there are 2 large gardens, a pond with fish and a waterfall. We ate beets, carrots and some broccoli from the garden. We saw deer in the yard and a wild turkey. The rental is VERY well stocked with anything you may need. I’d recommend this...
