"This is a lovely traditional country house surrounded by its own grounds but with other properties nearby. It is beautifully quiet (apart from cicadas) and very relaxing. The children loved the pool, which is set in its own gated area; the only downside being there is no shade near it except very early morning and late afternoon. We all immediately felt at home. "The photos don't do justice to the actual home/resort. The owner and his nephew live onsite and are available to help with whatever comes up- nothing did. They even made recommendations for things to see and routes to take. The home is LARGE and spacious and the pool literally feels like you are in Hawaii or someplace tropical. Highly recommend staying here and more people would be even more fun."

"The villa is absolutely stunning and with a view to die for. The owner/manager Giuseppe was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and we were sad to leave! Marsala town in truth was a bit run down but get out to Erice, Salemi and Castelmarra del golfo... beautiful!!!"

"Good points: Very friendly host. Nice house (apart from lack of oven and dishwasher), garden and pool. Less good points: On arrival, multiple advertised items had issues - aircon not working in main bedroom, oven and dishwasher in house didn't work so had to cook in an outbuilding all week, no WIFI or parasol (brought when I contacted the host), no bbq (I'd given up at this point so just left it)."

"Casa Palmi was very comfortable and well equipped. The check in was smooth and owners very welcoming. The swimming pool was great. The only downside was the area, which was interesting! The sea was very near but not condusive to swimming as it was quite run down and dirty souroundings. There are nicer beaches near by, Our visit to Selenute Greek ruins was fantastic and highly recommended."
