"Nice place and nice surroundings. Well positioned for the south east corner of Cornwall. It's not often you go away these days to a self catering cottage and don't get a welcome pack. Even if it's just a pint of milk. But not here. Also, free access to Wi-Fi is now pretty standard, but again not here. A couple of small things that could have made it perfect. "

"The cottage was amazing, Collin was very helpful and gave great suggestions of what to do locally and which paths to walk to get most out of Fowey in 3 days that we stayed. We are planning to come back as we had a great time, would recommend Coriander Cottages to anyone who want to spend a few days around Fowey."

"The cottage was huge and extremely well-equipped, making it a perfect stay for families. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, providing a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The spa requires advance booking, and guests can stay for only one hour, but it was a great experience nonetheless. Everything was absolutely perfect during our stay!"

"Tucked away in a quiet little corner of the bay I wasnt sure what to expect. The inn is lovely, clean and welcoming. The staff were very friendly, and couldnt have been more helpful. The food and drink on offer were delicious. The room was great, well appointed and perfectly clean and tidy. I will definitely return!"

"The apartment is a home from home and has everything you’d need! We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! Comfortable beds, great location although did get a little noisy at times! "

"I enjoyed my brief stay at St Mellion’s. The staff were welcoming and the hotel was clean and tastefully decorated for the festive period. The bed was huge and the bathroom had plenty of towels and handwash/shower gel etc. Although there weren’t many gluten free options on the restaurant menu, the staff were helpful and made me a GF steak and chips which was perfectly cooked. The cooked breakfast was all GF and a very generous portion. I would definitely stay again. "

"The Alma Lodge Guest House is Conveniently situated with easy off street parking. Very comfortable room. Excellent facilities and wide choice of breakfast. Wonderful host, very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend. Thank you"

"Lovely room so able to relax. Good communication from the hotel - it wasn't open the night I stayed but I was sent details of the keypad for the front door & key to the room was available. A list of food delivery options was provided as food not served that night. Tea/coffee in the room plus toiletries. It's a lovely place to stay &, if visiting the area, close to the main road, beaches, small villages but only 20 minutes or so from Plymouth. Definitely recommend whether for business (decent free wifi) or leisure."

Davy Cottage in the Countryside With Horse Riding

Great stay in Owls Nest lodge

"I received a free upgrade to one of the Lodges so don't actually know about Davy Cottage. However, the lodge called Owls Nest was lovely. Spacious, well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The view was great. Parking was directly outside. The road is rather pot-holed (not unlike the rest of the country!) and I didn't like the black towels which left lint all over me, but that is really me being finicky! We ate in the restaurant one evening which was very good. The peacocks were amusing, one of the males stomped over the lodge roof briefly one evening but it seems that they are kept inside during the night as they were not heard until the morning. I would live to stay here again in warmer weather."
