I can't understand how a city could let this happen, but it is what it is. It isn't cheap compared to some hotels in the area, but for me it was worth it."

"We only stayed for one night before leaving Kars with the Dogu Ekspresi. The hotel was very close to the train station, and had an overall good location on a big street with many restaurants nearby. As everywhere in Kars, the staff did not really speak English, but they were very helpful, and the breakfast was great! The room was very small, and very cold!! Cozy, but impossible to walk on the floor without shoes on (it was however -20 degrees Celsius outside). Overall a good experience."
