"Perfect stay. I loved everything about Kars Oteli. The building is one of the few remaining old Russian mansions in Kars, my room was spacious and comfortable with a wonderful long outside balcony. The bed was superb. The room had a fridge, kettle and coffee machine, also a cafetière. A good breakfast. Most of all Metin Bey was excellent, he found me a Turkish tour (museums, Ani, lake çıldır) for the next day, and helped with every query. He kindly packed me a good breakfast for the doğu ekspresi - lucky as there's no food on the train (only on the tourist one). I highly recommend staying here. "

I may have repeatedly emphasized on the service and hospitality but having stayed in many different hotels around the world I’ve never came across such a beautiful team! Looking forward to go back! "The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was big and comfortable. At times there was a sewer smell but it wasn't extremely strong or constant. The breakfast buffet was good but get there early (before 9 am. If you get there at 9 am or later, everything is empty or only a few things left. When the çay runs out, no more is made. The hotel is located close to everything. "
