"This was my Second stay at Residency so this stay was more as a friend and less as a guest! I got a very warm welcome by concierge Rajesh who couldn't have been more delighted to see the passenger emerging from the taxi! His customary Good Morning Maam immediately turned into a shriek of delight. Sushant at the desk had very kindly already arranged for an early check in for me. After a quick freshen up in my lovely room in the annexe next door I went for breakfast where Peter welcomed me back! The cafe staff Kesar, Baloo, Chef Girish were delighted to see me. Every morning from then on I felt totally at home in the cafe. Kesar and Baloo often without being asked anticipated my likes and so I got excellent table service and refills of my favourite masala chai! The buffet breakfast included in the room price caters to all tastes. Fresh fruit, fruit juice, cookies, cakes and some popular street foods already waiting under domed dishes for the guests to choose and enjoy! But it is their freshly prepared items to individual tastes like eggs as you like them, omelettes, dosas and uttapams, waffles etc.that I saw other guests too enjoying most. The new staff member Jeeban too takes pride in preparing and presenting dishes just as Kesar is famous for his expertly decorated lattes! A big thank you to some very interesting guests I got to chat to at breakfast. Thanks also to the ever smiling Pushkar at Reception and Concierge Gopal for his help during checkout! I booked a superior category room with one king bed, which was later upgraded by Mr. Ismail at the front desk to a deluxe room with an Imagica view at no extra cost. Typically, the superior category does not include an Imagica view when booked through Hotels.com. We were very satisfied with our stay. My daughter enjoyed it immensely, and the food was amazing. The buffet for dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of options, though it costs approximately 5000 rupees for a couple. However, there is no separate discount for Imagica if you stay at the hotel. "

The view from our room was absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family. One area of improvement - I wish they would allow hotel residing guest to make reservations at the dining places, especially when guests pay to enjoy the view. One of the reason I picked this hotel was for dome. But couldn’t get a preferred seat so was a bit let down."
