Come to Karnack Dreams Cottage and experience a dreamy, unique getaway from the fast pace of modern life.

Pull into the driveway and you’ll be greeted by a breathtaking bayou view with a cypress forest across the way. Climb the front porch steps and enter the 2 bedroom/1 bathroom cottage. Make yourself at home in the spacious common area, with a fully-equipped kitchen and coffee bar, super-cozy living den with 55" TV, as well as a beautiful daybed with a panoramic view of the bayou. Step out onto the back porch and perch at one of the many outdoor seating spots while you watch the boats go by. Join one of the local boat tours to explore the bayou in all its glory. In the evening, gather your loved ones around the fire pit to trade s'mores and stories (and even songs if you’d like to take our cottage guitar for a strum). Settle into the hammock and let your mind relax as you stare out at the dozens of stars cresting the bayou tree line. When you're ready to turn in, you've got two comfortable bedrooms you can choose from, or you can drift off to dreamland in the daybed.

Please note that we do have (1) outdoor security camera facing the driveway and main road.

At this time we do not have a dock for swimming access to the river or a place to tie your boat, but you’ll be able to enjoy endless fishing right from your backyard overlooking the majestic bayou. There are also several nearby boat ramps to use, kayak rentals and boat tours in the area. You can even arrange for a private fishing guide or photography guide.

Amazing Location and amazing rental
This is our second summer stay with the family at the same location. You could not ask for a better location just minutes away from the best restaurant Big Pines Lodge by boat. Neighbors are great Will definitely have our next third family vacation at this rental as well. Host is great as well.

Our lake Caddo summer visit is a yearly family vacation trip. The setting is very peaceful and relaxing. We saw a deer several squirrels and a few raccoons during the weekend.

Great retreat!
We really enjoyed our stay! My son stayed fishing when we were at the house and we enjoyed sitting by the fire every night under the stars. It’s a beautiful place. The check in/out was a breeze. Amy was very accessible and prompt if we needed anything. The house had everything we needed and more. That was a big plus!! We will be back when we visit again for sure.

The house and amenities were perfect and the views outside by the campfire were some of the best Caddo has to offer. Would recommend for 1 or 2 couples. And if you want to bring some kids they’ve got a place for them to sleep as well. Hosts are very responsive and keep and wonderful house. 10 out of 10 would stay again!

We booked a weekend away with another couple to rest, relax and reset. The Karnack Dreams Cottage was absolutely perfect! On a private road skirting the banks of Big Cypress Bayou, it's a place to see the stars, hear the crickets and sit and watch the water. Communication with our hosts was stellar. The "check-in, live-here-for-a-while and check-out processes" were very professional, with top of the line technology. The cottage was super clean and very comfortable. Amy and Andrew provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay and then some! The attention to detail was not lost on us. I will stay at any "Amy and Andrew" property, just tell me where they are! It's unfortunate we are limited to 5 stars. Thank you for such a wonderful restful weekend.

Wonderful Fall Family Getaway!

Quaint perfect cottage
We brought our two kids and husbands parents for a weekend away to relax. The cabin had a well stocked kitchen, they provide firewood and charcoal, and was very comfortable for 6 people. We fished off the shore line, jumped off and floated in front, and used the neighbors ladder to climb out. Even with large groups around us, it was quite and the house kept all the sounds out at night. Amy and Andrew were very responsive and thought of all the small details for guests. It was very relaxing and we enjoyed every minute!

The Peace We Needed
After my kids high school graduations, I wanted to take my family to a place I know would give all of us the break we all needed from the everyday. Amy and Andrew’s place has a great homey feel. Place was clean and neat! This was the right size for a family of 4, and the outdoor space was amazing. We had everything we needed. The area is so peaceful. We loved sitting outside at any given time to take in the sights and sounds of nature. I would definitely consider their place again if I ever get a chance to come back.
