"Nice clean hotel with all the amenities close to Plitvice park. Staff pleasant and accommodating. Pool, whirlpool, gym and sauna a nice extra feature after a day of hiking. Food and beverages overall varied and tasty. Not a great deal in the area other than Plitvice parks/hiking - presume that’s what most would be there for. Would recommend and stay again."

"Marija was lovely. She quickly greeted us on arrival and went over everything we needed to know for our stay. The room was clean with a cute little balcony. The bed was large and the mattress was very firm. The mattress was the only downside for me but I imagine most people enjoy it especially after a long day of hiking. We had the breakfast prior to going on our hike in Plitvice. Marija prepared everything herself and it was very good. She does a wonderful job running everything...

"This is an exceptional hotel. Situated on a beautiful lake with swans and ducks. Beautiful building with an outstanding restaurant with the best duck entre ever. The breakfast was outstanding. The staff are als incredible. A special thank you to Marisa."

"The property is located very close to the national park (though, you still need to get there by car). The staff is very helpful and accomodating. We only stayed for one night and did not get a chance to try the restaurant, although the options seemed good! The hot tub is a little tight for 4 people, but it is still very enjoyable. The scenery is beautiful. We would definitely go back!"

"House Jelena was perfect for our stay at Plitvice Lake. Very modern studio apartment. We totally loved Jelena, who is a lovely host. She shared many tips for visiting Plitvice Lake. Jelena even made coffee for us in the morning and she was very nice with my kids. I highly recommend House Jelena to everyone."

"Almost everything about our stay was excellent, my only issue and it may well not bother others, but the linen is more like a nylon fabric which I personally don’t like at all. Our host was delightful and helpful, the breakfast was very good and the property & room immaculate ! There is even a pool for cooling off/relaxing! It is in very close proximity to the Plitvice lakes. "

Man sieht ein paar Kanus am Tag vorbeikommen, und ist ansonsten ganz alleine. Am besten ist der Blick auf den Fluss von der Veranda aus. Aber auch das Holzhaus selbst ist wunderschön und so, dass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Klar ist manches eher einfach gehalten, aber genauso sollte es nach meiner Meinung auch sein. "A bit hard to find, but the setting made it worth the trouble. The room was quite small, but was clean and comfortable. A great place for those who may like to hike or just experience the beauty of nature. Meals in the restaurant were very good, and the service was excellent. WiFi was slow at best."
